There's a competition on Alex's website to win the Betty Boop car mats from his VW Beetle Betty that was sold recently.

"As you know, Alex has sold Betty, his beloved blue VW Beetle. So he's now looking for a new home for his Betty Boop car mats.

For a chance to win a car mat, all you have to do is guess the mileage that was on Betty when she was sold. The two closest entries will win a mat each"

Details are on http://www.alexsibley.net

I may be wrong, but I don't think it was ever mentioned that the VW sale was for charity.

Although I can see how you could get confused as he's done so much work raising money for charity.

Of course I had to pop over to the Alex Sibley fan site to research this thread, so naturally while I was there had a browse through Alex's calendar of upcoming events and appearances, it looked very bleak.
It looks like the media machine has used him up and spat him out, although he was mentioned in dispatches in The Salon the other day.
John and Terry, the two gay stylists, were talking to one of the members from boy band One True Voice. He asked them if they knew Alex.
John said, " Who, Alex Sibley? Yeah, I know him, I see him in HEAVEN " which is a popular London gay club.

Infamy !!...........Infamy !!

How many times do you need telling, bystander ?

Of course Alex goes to HEAVEN with his showbiz chums and his former flatmate. He has to keep in touch with the London artistic set. Especially now that the job he had lined up with the homeless charity appears to have fallen by the wayside

But we all know that he goes home to the lovely Mel and puppy Poppy.................it was in the Romford Recorder ( Alex is still a star in Romford )

So there.................

Alex pouched the money?

Is that acceptable? selling your clobber like that?

I am not sure myself I just ask the question.

These hints in the media and on the Board are unfair.
we know Alex is not gay or bi-nothing wrong if he was-but he would presumably be a "hypocrite" which he is clearly not.

stop trying to roast these angels you two

gay niteclubs are good fun and have a nicer feel sometimes without hassle for us hetero's

The messenger got shot, yet again.

If I was an Alex Angel I think I would be more upset at his bleak calender rather than where he spends most of his free time.

You're missing the point bystander. We don't just love Alex because he's beautiful, sexy and witty, it's because he can also be a little bit weird. Its part of the charm.....

Of all the desperate things people on here having accused Jonny and Kate of doing to wring the last 15 seconds out of their BB fame, nothing even approaches this!

More desperate than flashing your bits on the telly each & every morning? I really don't think so.

This is a competition on a fan site. It is hardly going to make the national news.

wrong and wrong again as ever........

I notice you have changed your name-i had not realised-I expect others have not either.

Is that because people had worked out to ignore you under the previous name???

No, it is the same account ... just a different username. I fancied a change so I'm using my real first name and a part of my real second name. Plus it's what I use on some other sites, as you well know, so I'm more easily recognised. So all those that have placed me on 'ignore' need have no worries they can continue to miss out on my wise words.

PS - Ten out of ten for your detective skills.
