Good to see that Alex still rocks your boat. I wonder why? You just can't let go, can you? How scarey is that?

Not scary at all, if you're an alex fan. Who wouldn't want some memorabilia if that was the case?

Too slow! anyway, you get my drift...

I`m not surprised.
Alex Sibley was the only H.M. ever to have the courage to stand against the crowd for what he believed was right.
That made him very special ,and anything to do with that memory , a little special too.

I suspect that many of the people that didn`t like him , knew that they did not measure up to him in more than just looks.

Very true Fogey, but the best thing about Alex is his fans ........

What a great bunch they are...........

after reading your excellent replies .... i see that a lot of you are saying that if you are an alex fan its prefectly acceptable to have a compulsion to enter comps to win ONE car mat ... (i can actually understand that !!!! ) .... so fair enough .... i have reviewed my financial situation and have decided that if this item did appear on ebay i would DOUBLE my original offer .... so that makes the new latest offer ....
0 pounds 0 pence

of course this would include postage .....

Why are you getting yourself so worked up about a car mat you don't even want or is it the fact that you lost out on it by guessing the wrong milage.

I doubt the mats were ever intended to be used, same as most items which fans collect which belonged to their favs.

There are so many Alex fans about and now some new ones from Finland that it would be better to split the mats giving two fans a chance to win rather than one, surely this makes sense even to you.

Sorry again, you missed out on winning a mat but I very much doubt they will ever turn up on ebay and if they did, I doubt you would be able to afford them, as I expect they would fetch a tidy sum.

You make me feel like we should be doing a whip round for you now

This is exactly why I made my earlier suggestion Susann, that Rosemary should cut it up into little pieces so that all of Alex's fans could share in a little something that belonged to him. Oh no! Rosemary didn't like that idea very much did she.
She could have run it through the shredder and made some very attractive stringy rubber bracelets for the Angel delights.

OMG, I need to lay down *feeling faint* How dare you suggest that Bystander

I can think of a few things I would like to put through my shredder and it wouldn't be Alex's car mats

Human behaviour generally conforms to recognised patterns.
Compare MYOB`s posts , to the behaviour of Spencer Smith in the period just after BB3 ended.
Spencer , who had fancied himself " The Winner in Waiting", had recently been beaten on National T.V. by Alex Sibley ( who by contrast was quite modest and never expected to last the distance).
Endermol arranged a BB3 Book signing to be filmed , which Spencer attended and Alex didn`t.
Spencer made a point of drawing "male genitalia" inside a number of books , with the caption , " Alex is a Pr*ck ."
He must have known this was pointless and that such books would never be released , so this was more about jealousy and an attempt to deny what was clear to all :-
By comparison to Alex Sibley ....Spencer was a Loser.
.
The Sting in the Tail , was that if Alex WAS a" Pr*ick ", what then did that make the person who lost to Alex ?
Obviously an inferior "Pr*ick "!
( and which, by coincidence ,we know was in fact also true!)
This thought made Spencer even angrier.
So being unable to come to terms with the public`s vote , Spencer began a spate of aggression far greater than anything seen whilst the two had been together in B.B.
Yet still , whatever he called Alex , in his heart he knew the public had judged him inferior.
So if he called Alex a "Sh*t" , then Spencer must by implication be a worse one !
This just made him angrier and more frustrated still.
What angered Spencer was the " comparison ",...
not what Alex had actually done in the B.B.House.
.
That is why his aggression got worse over time not less , until Spencer finally disappeared from view.
He may still harbour bad feeling ,nobody cares anymore,(Alex Sibley never did).
Maybe MYOB is Spencer.
Who knows ?
They certainly follow similar behaviour patterns.
Could it be for the similar reasons?

You took a long time over this (A+ for effort) but you are so so wrong (D- for result).
I can only answer some more obvious problems as a I do not have long today.

Spencer’s behaviour toward Alex immediately after BB3 can only be analysed in the light of the rubbish behaviour of Alex toward Kate-it started at the winners night party and continued somewhat after-before going apparently quiet mutually. Spencer was very much a friend of Kate at the time.(and hopefully will be more so in the future but that is another matter).
I think you will find it was Alex that thought he was going to win.
After the week 4 vote he seemed very arrogant for the week after.
Book signing? Who was it out of the final 4 who refused to attend –even Queen Jade managed an appearance for this group communal signing. Arrogant Alex no show.

You are on dodgy ground if you are stressing the public vote. Alex only narrowly survived week 2 because of some still unexplained potential manipulation and the presence of Sandy that split the whinger vote. Also Alex fans seem to have spent their entire lives trying to undermine the landslide vote of Kate over Alex despite the split in the dream team vote.

Spencer is cool and relaxed and very pleasant-I am surprised you do not see this.(Spanky u r fit)
He has got his fishing programme in the can which is a really fine achievement and might even get syndicated and he always seems a very happy old sole-unlike yourself who seems a very unhappy old sole.

PS are these people really going on about "car mats" or is it one of these code things(i should coco)-sounds all a bit tacky to me!

Tell me Vilt , is English your first language ?
I don`t mean to be rude but it would explain a lot if it weren`t.
I am happy for us to differ, the facts speak for themselves.
But must point out that Kate is never likely to "go" for a Loser like Spencer in the outside world and only used him in B.B. ( prefers men with money)
Sorry , neither of them came out of it with much credit.
He , marginally more than her.
P.S.
My earlier comments were written quite quickly , and were meant as an explanation of behaviour , not a criticism of it.

Alex lost too , plus he has to sell ALL his stuff in a vain attempt to get back on TV (must be short on the roubles) .... looks like he has no chance with katie either ... hard luck Sibbles , she was using you on BB to get votes you know!

To Vilt , unfortunately/amazingly ... yes it really is a CAR MAT ... its not a code for anything ... its an actual CAR MAT!!!

You don't have to be a mind reader or need to back anything up to know that Old Fogey is spot on with this. But do a search on the boring one, Spencer, if it makes you happy.

Hmmmm, the childish reverting to name calling when backed in a corner by a fm, I thought your posts had a familiar tone to them.

Wheather Alex was beaten by Jonny or not, is neither here nor there, who has done better out of BB3. ALEX

And I wouldn't. Up against Alex, in a straight fight, spencer lost.

The final 4, it was made clear on BB were not losers, the voting changed to keep your fav in instead of voting someone out, so Alex was not and never will be inferior to Jonny.

Again as in recent posts, you presume to know exactly what Alex is doing and why he is doing it. You are too funny for words methinks you presume too much

As for kate, thx for letting us know she uses people to get what she wants, I always suspected she was a user, amongst other things note I didn't presume she was. What is she doing workwise these days btw ? Nothing maybe ?

Oh dear, are you still on about the car mat, just accept you didn't win . OK .

Lastly if you intend to dissect a post, why do so if it is only to take it out of it's original context.

Btw Susann, it is actually spelt as JONNY, derived from Jonathan as opposed to Johnny from John.

Alex has most probably for all we know turned down the likes of panto's, why would he want to do them ??

Who says he doesn't have a regular job ?

Be fair now Susann, unless Alex is in some kind of ex BB contestant protection programme don't you think that any kind of work he was involved in would be publicised on here.

And why wouldn't he want to do pantos, he has some experience after all, some of his TV work has been a bit of a pantomime.

I haven't posted on here for some time, for this very reason.
Alex has done the TV work that has pleased him and in total I'd say it was a lot more lucrative than any of the others.
Why would he want to do panto - it's not really his thing and do you suppose he needs the work that desperately?

To your other question.
No, I don't suppose that any work he is involved in would be publicised on here.
Alex has largely avoided the media (often being photographed from behind and often avoiding them completely).
I also think from various 'snippets' that on the whole most respect this and from chatting to him, respect that he has remained unchanged and down-to-earth.
Therefore they tend to leave him alone.

Aside from the media, why would anyone else publicise "any work he was involved in" on here to be ripped apart by the likes of you? Jumping in at any opportunity, even on his 'Happy Birthday' thread.
No chance of that, so you keep on assuming whatever you like and post about it prolifically.

On the subject of assumptions, you've assumed that Alex has done the TV work that's pleased him whereas some might say, from the type of work he's done, like the rest of them, he's grabbed at anything that's come along.
You've assumed that Alex's TV work was more lucrative than the others when in fact you have no way of knowing how much anyone has received.
You've assumed that panto wasn't Alex's thing, how on earth did you arrive at that? I'm sure Alex would love panto. He'd be perfect for it, playing up to the kids, all that dressing up and very good money.

Anyway Anon, it's lovely to see you back and nice to know your sense of humour hasn't changed.
