Can you guys help me pick a phone?!
Hello there
I am a bit of an old person when it comes to mobiles despite my age! And wondered if anyone could help me pick a Nokia for my needs... have been on the review sites and googling but it's all a bit overwhelming.Basically my husband is buying me a new handset for my birthday (just a handset) and I want a Nokia so that we can share charger/ car charger etc (plus he works for Nokia music so it seems right!) When I ask him for suggestions he seems to suggest things that just seem a waste as I wouldn't use 90% of the things on it! Basically all I do is text (a lot), make calls, use the calculator (!) and check my email on the move. Oh and use the camera once in a blue moon, but never video. But I don't want too much of an old model because I text very fast and the older ones can't cope with the speed which is frustrating. I have a tendency to drop it quite a lot- have been through lots of phones this way , I am often struggling with my 2 year old when it rings, or grabbing it between chores and it often gets dropped. This happened to my last upgrade (6500 slide I think?) So I have been using my husbands N91 temporarily which appears to have a screen made of steel but looks ancient and is the butt of many jokes.I also prefer ones where the numbers are concealed until you need to use it. Prevents 2 year old ringing people or me pressing numbers in my bag! Sorry for long post. Can anyone suggest or recommend a phone for me? It will help me looking at reviews then cos at the moment there are just too many for me to cope with! Thanks x P.S. Should this be in advice? |

depending on budget, but I personally would recommend an E63. Has a full qwerty keyboard, 2.4 inch screen wifi, 3g. if budget not a problem, then go for the E71 - it has all of the above and also includes gps, so sat nav - thinner, slightly lighter, also has steel chassis so should help if dropped.
E63 - £170 sim free - expansys E71 - £250 sim free - expansys |

Whatever you do dont get the 6210 Navigator.I have used Nokia phones since the year dot and never had a problem with any of them, and in June of this year I upgraded to this horror of a handset. It is absoluetly useless and has let me down many times.Worst decision I ever made was to pick this phone.

Whilst lookin at your suggestions (and avoiding those that I you also said I should!) I noticed the 6303i....anyone had any experience with this? I know the keys arent covered, but thought it looked suitable
Problem is, with every phone you read bad reviews somewhere Also I should have said £100.00 is my budget |
