Need help ..
Going to work abroad for 6 months (possibly longer) and have just got a new phone and contract (18 months - signed for it before I knew I was going away). Obviously all my free minutes and texts are now absolutely useless and I can't change my tariff for 6 months, apparently.
Anyone know of the best way to get cheaper calls. Is it worth my while getting my phone (e700) unblocked and buying a pays as you go sim when I get there? Or are there any other ways around it?? |

what netowrk are you on? with some networks you can change the tariff after 1 month... and so you could put you phone on the lowest contract..

T-mobile. I know someone who works there and they said that I wouldn't be able to change it until 6 months was up, by that time I might be back home !!

I believe you unlock the e700 by taking out the sim and typing..
*2767*688# This may reset the phone and make you lose all you settings etc. You chould ask t-mobile about changing tarriff as i was under the impression you could. |
