Partly because it is painful to me to watch him dance....he looks as if he has no skeleton

Also because other people will have to leave for him to go to Blackpool and, now that Jo has gone, there is no one worse than him.

But I do like him. Just not his dancing.

Let him dance at Blackpool. Just not on SCD. He is really, really dreadful... sorry, but it has to be said. How the heck he is still in is a mystery to me *cough soap fans*

It's really annoying me. If he wants to dance at Blackpool then get on a train with his wife & tango round the pier.

I don't see the point of dancing shitly there on SCD...

He'll be in the dance-off next week and then tatty-byeee.

I don't dislike him but he is technically the worst of the remaining celebs and I'd rather have his brother take over from him. He looked like much more fun!

Jo going this week leaves Craig out of options. One more bad dance and he's history. The SCD voters are nice sympathetic people, but they know when they're being played for idiots

Dean Lennox Kelly did look pretty good, but he's in Shameless isn't he? When was the last time a C4 celb got a sniff of the glitterball?

Thank you Tina for the PM.

I'm not against Craig.

I'm a big fan of Corrie and was cheering for him last week when he did a runner with Rosie's £90,000.

He is from Blackpool my fav seaside place.

Out of the final 10 I think he is the weakest, then it would be Phil & Laila.

I'm sure he is a great bloke but it is a dancing competition as it keep being mentioned last year.

Craig Kelly was born on 31 October, 1970 in Lytham St Annes near Blackpool, Lancashire. He is the brother of Dean Lennox Kelly of the TV series Shameless.

I know Craig has said 'I want to dance.......' many times

but I think you will find Laila also said it this week.

If anyone has Strictly on video, disc, Sky+ etc. maybe you can confirm that.

Coronation Street actor Craig said: "To be saved by the public is amazing. I'm just going to go out there and do it for my friends, family and all those who are supporting me."

But St Annes lad Craig is now one quick-step closer to realising his dream of performing at Blackpool Tower with his dance partner Flavia Cacace when the show returns to the resort for a special edition on November 7.

His wife, Camilla, said: "To go back to Blackpool and dance in front of millions would be inspirational for him."

And his brother and fellow actor Dean Lennox Kelly, who visited him in training, added: "Our mum and dad met 40 years ago at a holiday camp in Blackpool so he would be returning in a blaze of glory.

"Our Craig is a fighter and I'm so proud of him."

I don't have it recorded (though I guess I could go try iplayer) but that was my recollection too, that Laila also said it this week.

Definitely.

The poor guy. He is completey and utterly hopeless. Yet he tries so hard and is so sincere. His 6 year old nephew could see he was rubbish! His brother (the one from Shameless) got up and messed around in training and even he was better.

He just cannot dance. He has no sense of style or rhythm whatsoever.

It's painful to see someone train so hard and be so sincere and so honest yet be so useless.

What I don't understand is why he is always so shocked that his scores are low. Surely he must know he is terrible? He is terrible in a unique way - he just looks embarassing and all wrong when he dances and you just know he would look like that dancing in any context at all. Whereas people like Lina and Jo Wood look like they would be alright just dancing in a club or something, casual and free style. Craig is the type of bloke you look at in horror and dance away from on the dance floor.

The 'Birthday' and 'Blackpool' mentioned in the latest Craig Blog so not much hope of him keeping it quiet this Saturday then.

If Craig gets through on Saturday and then dances at Blackpool you do all realise that he wont want to be eliminated IN Blackpool in front of his Mum and Dad so he will survive another week too.

I know I am assuming he isnt going to improve but I think we have given him quite long enough now.”

That's an idea

Now, I am a major flavia fan, but I don't want Craig to get through this week if he doesn't improve and is the worst left *and I think he will be*. I personally don't like it when celebs plead to get through to such and such as it just seems a bit needy to me. But I love Flavia and it's because I love her that I don't want them to get through...Craig doesn't seem to get that he can't dance at all, and Flavia will get backlash if they get through over a good celeb

But there are some left who aren't particularly good just a bit better than Craig. Does it matter if these people go out slightly ahead of their time as they are never going to win it?

Yes it does because THEY are all getting better AND are a hell of a lot more entertaining to watch week after week.....and who says they are not going to win it......anyone could win it at this stage.......including Craig unfortunately.

AND the two that have been in the dance off instead of Craig are Jade and Zoe who are both 500% better than Craig and both have a very decent chance of winning it.

Excellent idea Jan imo. If there were more REALLY good celbs this year we'd all be far less tolerant of the sympathy card because several excellent people would be at risk of being in the bottom two

(I'm assuming that Craig isn't actually saying "I am going to drop dead suddenly in three weeks, two hours, five minutes and 19 seconds and so my last wish is to dance in front of my mum and dad in my home town." ) That WOULD be worth keeping him in for.

But my feeling is that he knows he's pretty rubbish and has found a sympathy-vote winner.

Next week: Natalie: "I just want to stay to the semis because my parents live in a semi"

and Phil: "I just want to dance in the final because - er, because it rhymes with urinal and I need a wee"
