hey ho”

I remember seeing their intros. Her going "I need a gentle teacher" and him going "I'm a taskmaster" and thinking 'oh dear this isn't going to go well which is a shame because he's cute'. They were both very unlucky to get each other - she would have flourished better with someone like Ian whom she clearly adored and unfortunately it's bulit up an anti-fan base for him which didn't help when he critised JS which I didn't agree with what he said but I appreciate his bravery in saying it. I wonder if Brendan would have had the fan base he does if his first partner had been Sarah Manners whom he clashed with equally if not more specularly. The intial adverse reaction to James has also created a vicious circle where every year he underdeservedly needs up in the dance-off whilst the public save some complete duffer which understandably makes him cross and that makes him even more unpopular because he doesn't have the type of personality where he can not comment about that being unfair.

I wonder if he'd be paired with Gaby from the off if he would have been better liked.

I have just read Kenny's autobiography, Just for Kicks and he mentions the Jordans in a couple of chapters and it was fab.

Some titbit. Kenny had a go at James for making Gabby cry sating something like if I spoke to your wife like that you would be after me. He stated that Dancing is quite male take the lead and James is very alpha male. Gabby and James made up and the partnershops worked well.

Kenny took James out drinking with his Rugby pals on the tour and got he absolutly drunk. Ola was mad as hell with Kenny and James and did not let up.

I really loved the Kenny/Ola James/Gabby partnership and am loving Ola with Chris

If I went to live with them, I wouldn't be thinking about making toast...

James Jordan is brilliant. I believe it was the John Sergeant lovers' who tried to demonise him when he expressed a reasonable opinion.

He helped and supported Mark Ramprakash when he was a contestant and stood up for Mark against an extremely biased Brendan.

I like him and hope that he goes a long way in this series.
