Relief for BBC1, I suspect, that TXF only put on 0.49m despite totally dominating every tabloid newspaper, seemingly the whole of the internet, and all manner of other programmes in the past 7 days to an extent which puts the BGT Scottish woman (forget her name now..) story well in the shade.
And AR put on 0.2m itself in spite of everything. Suspect the bitter cold last night caused more people to stay in, thus boosting the figures for everyone.

Well, 1 and 3 currently.
TXF hasn't knocked Wallace & Gromit off 2nd spot yet.

Although it looks like BBC1 still very narrowly outperformed ITV1 yesterday on share.

Very well indeed - its ratings must be up 600% year on year.
Stick that in yer pipe Cowell and smoke it...
I do still think BBC1 should be putting CF out opposite TXF with Roadshow opposite Family Fortunes. AR would be getting 7-8m, CF would probably hold 5m+ against TXF, and if the Beeb had the guts to keep Top Gear in its usual regular slot, then that would get 5m+ against TXF too, thus knocking 2-3m off TXF's figures.
I'd like to see a breakdown but I suspect the 7m that FF is getting of late is skewed by 10-11m tuning in for the last 20 mins or so ready for TXF.

Out of interest, why do you think he's lost 3m viewers in the past couple of weeks over his combined weekend editions?

Or a typically aggressive BBC, deliberately scheduling these remembrance ceremonies against some of ITV's weakest performers (Piers Morgan, football highlights, Corrie omnibus) in order to chase ratings, shocking...
