Has anyone else noticed the fall in dance muisc?

The clubs are still playing a few dance tunes, however it's now more of Tinchy styder,N Dubz, and Black Eyed Peas.Although we could say that a lot of this year's big songs are more dance than hip hop or r n b.

Yes I have definitely noticed this. I've stopped going clubbing now because the music bores me to tears. I'm gagging to go out for a good dance somewhere but can't find anywhere that I like the music.

I agree, today's music has become a mish-mash of all styles with no discernible rhythm.

I think the 90s was the decade for dance music... thats what I listen to nowadays anyway.

Dance music exists outside of the Top 40 y'know. It's the Top 40 that's sooo 90s, not dance music.
Maybe you should try some better clubs. And do a bit more research on Google

I don't go clubbing these days, but if I found somewhere nice in London dedicated to playing dance music from the late 80's and onwards I would love to go! There most probably are plenty of places that play it but I have been too lazy to find out!

The current dance music, r'n'b, hip hop isn't really what I want to hear while out clubbing. It's ok for radio/tv but not for going out.
