Lloyd may be less entertaining...but he is a good deal better singer than the twins

I think he has quite a unique voice and with his young years he can only get better. I also think that with the criticism he is getting,,even though he is only 16 years old,he takes it on the chin like a man,,,no tears like some of the other contestants much older than him,and I so admire him for that,,come on Lloyd,,,,we are all behind you !!!

The songs he has been given just don't suit his voice ,he could do well with better songs .

Makes me wonder if Cheryl is giving him the wrong song choices to make sure Joe shines. I mean,,he is actually from her part of the world isnt he.

Lloyd is one of my least favourite contestants this year, but he does have a great tone to his voice. It's a case of like Leon, finding the right song that suits him - with You Don't Know Me - when they find that song, and that style ... the tides will turn for him. I actually respect the fact that he tried to reinterpret Bleeding Love in a slow way, it's the kinda style you can imagine on a Radio 1 Live Lounge album. Okay, vocally he was always going to be compared to Leona Lewis, but as a song ... it was perfectly listenable.

Who thought that? Eoghan looked like a 11 year-old, who was the size of an adult. Lloyd actually looks like a 16 year-old, who's the size of a 16 year-old, and almost everybody agrees that he's more attractive.

Look at it this way, if people are voting for him, there MUST be a reason, and anybody's opinion is valid, even though I don't agree with it.

Some people are being so nasty to Lloyd on this forum. It's actually horrible. If one of the judges were speaking like this about, say, Stacy, or Joe, or Lucie, or Olly, people would be sending in thousands of complaints.

We aren't being stupid, he has only had one song that could be termed difficult to sing.

Also, I'll bet you hard cash that he won't be selling records in 2 years time, the girls who vote for the cute guy are renound as being whimsical; they will vote like mad on the show, go to the tour and when the album comes out; it will bomb... Like it ALWAYS does.

They simply aren't prepared to stump up the cash / have lost interest by then. Plus the next cute guys is on XFactor 7

that lies the problem..If he was plain he would have been out 2 weeks ago.

his main problem is not showing any emotion in a song
if he can get some emotion into the songs I wont have a problem with him.

Its a bit like Danyl..I would love to hear him sing a Gentle song..as it stands he doesnt seem possible in doing that.

jamie cant sing a song without turning it into a rock ballad.

the road is open for Lloyd to go a long way but on his current form that isnt going to happen its his looks getting him through at the moment not the Quality of the songs.

Im not going to lie if Lloyd was ugly he would have gone weeks ago.
But the reason he is performing less than brilliantly is not down to lack of talent, i see great potential in him as a vocalist.

I think with Lloyd its a mixture of bad songs mainly, lack of stage experience and lack of vocal training (i dont really think he knows his own voice)

Lloyd desperately needs a song he feels comfortable with or else im not sure how much longer he will last.

It will be a shame if he leaves before he shows what he can do on the show...I hope cheryl is taking his voice seriously, i feel sometimes she does not care what happens to lloyd as long as joe gets through.

Cheryl turning down a young black male a few weeks ago is probably proof enough that she wasn't making the decisions. I'm sure Simon didn't want Ethan through because he wants to 'crack America' with a British male.

Llloyd is the pits in every way and is way out of his depth. Luckily for him the combined DNA of his parents ended with a pleasant-looking kid.
