Simon is desperate to win
footygirl

Not fair that the strongest categorie ended up with Simon again.

And yet again Louie get's the short straw

Simon, we are not mugs- we know you are in on the decision as to who gets what

He is so despearte to win- but I don't think he is as good a mentor as Dannii

Smug Simon drives me round the twist

Correction hes desperate for Danyl to win. (I do like Danyl, but even Danyl's fans know Simon is destroying his changes.)

And did he think when he saw Danyl that he was a sure thing- hence he somehow ended up with his catagorie

Again? Last year he had the boys and the stongest category were the girls from the start. And he was pleased for and always full of praise for Alexandra. His boy Eoghan came third. And his favorite at the beginning, Rachel, was who he predicted to win at the start and she was in the overs with Dannii.

The year before, the boys were strongest and this was danniis category. And Simon was rooting for one of them, Rhydian, throughout and giving him standing ovations.

So what you say doesn't make sense in this instance. Why shouldn't he feel smug anyways. He has the best category.

And if he is in charge of who gets which group, then he has been awful nice to Dannii and Cheryl and for that matter Louis (with JLS) for the past couple of years. And a bit hard on himself (ie he found 'same difference' really annoying but he ended up with them)

Simon will 'win' no matter what singer gets the furthest. It's his show.

Wouldn't it have been fairer though to have given Louis the over 25s

Dannii the girls

Cheryl the boys

Simon the groups

Simon did have the groups once I seem to recall, Journey South was it came third.

But I do agree with its his show so he wins no matter what at the end of the day the act is signed to his label... wish he would stop bigging up Danyl and putting people off voting for the lad, as he is the best chance he has of winning imo, with Ollie as second best as sorry afro man does nothing for me, seen much better rock acts in my local pub.

Why fairer? I think Louis gets the groups more as groups are actually his speciality in the business.

At the end of the day, each got to chose who they put through in their category. The 'oldies' was never really a good category to get, I think they actually lowered the age in it as it was hard.

What is so wrong in supporting your own team and championing them?

So Louis ONLY specialises in groups then, so what Cheryl specialises in boys... whoops.. sorry that sounds bad...

I for one think it totally unfair that Louis has ended up with the groups 4 out of 6 times now.. yes he has had success with JLS, but this mob he got were doomed before they began, hence he put the novelty act thru, who are STILL there... odd that..god I must must stop voting for Pinky n Perky..

Shame that Miss Fitz lost their lead singer Gemma halfway through the early stages (The ones who sang Toxic at the audition) . They would have been strong contenders for Louis

Yes, they were very promising - the only decent group.

Simons desperation is off-putting.

It's clear that he's desperate to win. Over the last three weeks, he has been constantly over praising his own acts and criticising Dannii's girls, who are a clear threat to him. His intentions are clear. Simon really needs to nip this attitude in the bud because in the end it's his own acts that are going to suffer for it.
