Well we did have a thread about this some 2 weeks back as we wanted a rock night (ZIP WE GOT ONE, and oddly someone said JBJ would be on and I was LIKE NO..... and well YES they are, how happy am I.... very.

So who do you think can sing what song, and can we keep to rock or soft rock and not some cop out like happened this week on big band week, as at least 3 were hardly that now were they, Angel of Harlem, I can see Bono crying now... big band my ar$e.. J&E what was that.. big band my foot.

Lloyd and Joe are tough. I can see one of them doing "Chasing Cars", they really don't have the voices for rock. Oasis and Coldplay are good bets for them as well.

There's always the chance of "Wild Horses" showing up now that Susan Boyle is covering it.

I'm pretty sure Danyl is going to go for something like "Desperado" (The Eagles). It'll be really toned down this week. Though I'm not convinced that he has the voice to pull it off.

i thought that was diana's worst performance, so i wouldn't want lucie to be in similar danger.

I`d love to see Olly sing Amazed by Lonestar.

I dont want any of them either which is why I put up Joan Jet and Suzi as I do think they were rock chicks and even Bonny Tyler.. but PINK please go away... McFly hardly.. so lets get real this week producers, judges... think hard as out here you do have rock fans, even the softer rock fans we are not asking for metal.. just real rock.. now if that means rock and roll, we enter the Elvis years, and as much as I loved the man few of his would come under my version of rock either.

Now as a huge Eagles Fan (saw the Hotel California tour.. ouch shows my age, I never ever saw them as pure rock, but many would argue nor is Bon Jovi) and if I had to pick one song out Desperdo being my fav of all time as it happens I would have to pick Hotel California over it, but whichever what a wonderful choice it would be.

Oddly though I see Joe could perform Desperado better than Danyl.. just the way the lad sang in his audition, feel he could bring more to the table on this song, as it needs someone to understand it, Journey South sang it and did not even know what it meant, which I found so odd, but if you are not an Eagles fan maybe you would not know the meaning of it.

Now going off C14E to listen to some of your other ones as not sure I know them..

I love that song. But I would classify it as country not rock.

Well at least that is modern, and would show that this show is up to date and Rachel could pull that one off as well. none of the other female singers could I dont think though.. so well done, looking at something new for a change and not the same old same old ones...

Guns 'n' Roses have never allowed their songs to be used on Idol/XF/reality show, and thank God, as I'd hate to see someone murder any of their songs.

Maybe we'll hear some Beatles, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi and U2.

Under the circumstances, I don't know how wise it would be to have him sing something with that title. It could lead to all sorts of ridicule.

I think Jamie needs to do a very classic Rock song, any thing from:
