Would you all prefer it if Craig quit just like John Sergeant?
I'm starting to notice on here that most people think Craig should go next week as he is not as good as the rest of the dancers
If he gets through next week would you all therefore prefer if he was forced to leave the way JS was last year Should we just do away with the public vote and eliminate the dancers every week by the judges I thought this show was about being allowed your favourites as well as being a good dancer. He is not the best dancer but the public clearly love him Everyone on here seems to want Craig to go,seems to think he is unworthy of still being in SCD This all feel like de ja vu from last year. I got to say its becoming a bit of a witch hunt now ![]() ![]()

I thought the promise was NOT to start another Craig thread....?
This seems much like all the rest... and will certainly (by page 2) have revolved into a Craig to Blackpool thread..... |

No...I'd prefer it if his 'supporters' quit.

Same ole, same ole... this FM, under another username, did the same persistently on DS:BB this summer past. All in the name of attention-seeking.

I never wanted JS to quit. I wanted him to leave SCD as all the other rubbish dancer have: by being voted off.
Chris Parker & Julian Clarey both made it to the final without being good dancers but they didn't win, because they didn't get enough votes in the end. However in series 3, 4 & 5 there were only 'good' celebs in the final. Last year JS had the benefit of such an anti-judges vote that he could have won it on that, but I doubt it. This year I hope Craig leaves via the same route as all the others: by being voted off. Until now, I haven't had a problem with Craig still being there (and yes I still think he's a rubbish dancer) simply because there were other dancers as bad or worse still in the competition. BUT next saturday that is no longer the case and that is why I feel he should be going home, because IMO he's the worst dancer left. BUT in the end it's the GBP who decide and if there are still people who vote for him then fair enough. I won't like it, but I'm not going to insist on him quiting. In the end I'm sure sanity will prevail (as it has done in the past) and people will start voting for the best dancer and not on sympathy. There, couldn't make it more comprehensive if I tried. |

The suggestion is absurd. Craig has only been the worst dancer left (judging on past performances) for 3 days.
He should have been in the dance-off on Saturday, but he was still better than Jo and would therefore (rightly) still be in the competition. At least wait for some kind of apparent "injustice" before suggesting he should quit. |

As I said in Boddism's thread of the same theme (
Sure there may be celebs that are better than him, but they are average at best and hardly coming on leaps and bounds. |

I really feel people are starting to go a bit overboard, the knives are coming and I suspect in many cases that's because a few are terrified he'll be kept and their favourite will be in jeapoardy. I can understand that, but its all getting a bit nasty and personal from a few of the posters tbh. He's a nice enough guy and this show has always had pap dancers. |

It was quite right that Jo went before Craig, but he is in the danger zone now.
I don't think anyone (apart from the OP) is suggesting that Craig should quit, either now or next week. It is quite differnt from the JS situation, in that pretty good dancers were eliminated before JS. The order of leaving so far has been a fair representation of ability. If there is any anti-craig feeling on here, I'm afraid a lot of it is down to the OP's obsession... Sorry! |

Without wishing to get controversial, there is a certain irony in someone with 8000+ posts accusing someone else of attention seeking!

I would love it if Craig quit exactly like John Sergeant - ie holding a self-aggrandising press-conference where he cod-nobly tells the world's gathered media (or in Craig Kelly's case, two newspaper journalists and a representitive from Dinosaur Magazine) that he is doing the better thing by leaving, because if he stayed in he'd probably win, whilst Flavia artfully dabs away tears like Eva Peron.
God knows the show could do with some comedy this year. |

If you remember, the OP also has bets on Chris and Ali, so when Craig goes out the endless Craig threads will only be replaced by endless threads about those two. Just let it ride.

I agree with this, and like someone else said he's only been the worst dancer for three days. I'm not sure he will improve though, but I hope that he does.

I just think every year on SCD we get the same old argument that good dancers are going home at the expense of bad dancers Well when you have a scoring system as we do I'm afraid thats the nature of the show.If you don't like that fact then I guess you should watch anothr show that awards points purely on dancing ability I just feel that there seems to be an anti Craig feeling (actually it is probably not anti Craig ,more hes not worthy to still be here) developing on here and that reminds so much of JS from last year |
