Fictional Soap Merchandise
If it were possible, just what would you want to buy from 'soapland', but from a real vendor?
Possibles to kick off with would be - Betty's Hot Pots - (available from Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Iceland etc) with a smiling picture of Betty on the front of the wrapper Pollards Figurines - not quite in the Royal Doulton class, but available from all cheap, tacky seaside gift shops, and the less salubrious London tourist dives Newton & Ridleys - possibly the best bitter in the world? Underworld knickers - a new rival outlet to Knickerbox or Ann Summers? Home knicker parties ......? Simon's Sole - Simon the fishman in Emmerdale's own restaurant chain around the country Roy's Rolls - starts off up North, then takes over the UK, ousting Starbucks and Pret a Manger outlets. No doubt there are others ........ |
