There's no good evidence that it all balances out.

"All shades of opinion" do not automatically balance out.

(Not that we actually do get all shades of opinion, and the shades we do get can easily be in different proportions than they are in the wider population. Also, people in forums are influenced by forum discussions, which can take views towards extremes.)

D Spy forum polls are often very wrong. (Consider some cases in Big Brother this year, such as Hira's eviction. She was one of the most popular on the DS poll yet went out in a vote to save.)

I think the conclusion from my research on here that this forum makes no difference to the overall result.

So when everyone says I am not voting for such and such a person because your support of them has annoyed me on here in the grand scheme of things its not relevant to the overall result
