Voicemail Recordings
My boss is on Vodafone and has got a couple of humourous voicemail messages that he wants to try and save on computer :-
Does anybody know if it is possible to get the files from Vodafone rather than just recording it with the loadspeaker and a microphone - even if you have to pay for them? Cheers The Jackal |

Thanks if anyone has been looking - I worked it out - we have a system called replay for recording phone convs - all he had to do was "remotely" phone his voicemail box from the replay landline system and record the call - this outputs directly as an MP3 file which can then be edited!

I was wondering about this, i'm glad you sorted it.
I'm thinkin though that you have still introduced noise, vodafone must have it in better quality. |

We do have it like that, but unfortunately, they won't offer it to you again free. There are some websites with personalised greetings on there to send to your phone.
I refused to pay for them, so just stuck my mobile in front of a speaker with Dom Joly screaming down the phone. It does sound really clear as well. |
