We have have had a FOXSAT box for 6 months or so now , we are considering buying another but before I do I thought I would have a look around to see what else was available.

I notice that there are now Sagem/ Grundig / panasonic boxes out there.

has anyone any experience of these boxes - are they available yet?

Are Humax going to producing something new in the near future?

The new Humax HDR box is expected to be out in 2010. But no idea when. Probably towards the end of the year.

Isn't the new box going to be the freeview hdr not another freesat hdr? That's what I heard...

I wouldnt buy another humax. It will be full of bugs and no firmware update will come for years.
BEtter off upgrading to something that works straight off and from a company that can provide updates when needed, not after the life of the box is over.

I went ahead and bought one anyway ... It has to be better then the warfdale freeview that I have which contiuously freezes....

And the one we have had for 6 months seems to work OK
