No, sorry it will not work at all without a vision account, have a search on this forum, loadsa threads

its to stop people getting it for free, then flogging it on if they have sky. and to also keep them tied to a broadband line.

mind you until now it was the only STB that offered True HD as an option, since it can do MPEG4. albeit locked to the user.
