Richard Gere - to be on Strictly??
I hope this is true.
I loved that film, I didn't realise Katya was in it though. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/strictly...ctly-slot.html |

Wow, if true, that would be one hell of a coup for SCD. However, is Richard <3 Gere a big enough draw to pull people away from the Twinnies?

It would be wonderful and the programme needs some added interest at the moment

Now that would be a result for Strictly
![]() Can't really see it happening though - unless Katya has stayed personal friends with him and can persuade him.........and even then, i can't really think of any reason why would he fly over here to put himself out there to do it (especially as he was heavily criticised for his role in Chicago wasn't he?) |

Katya trained the ballroom dancing on that film and did the coreography (I think) she was also in Take the Lead with Antonio Banderas here is their tango together I dont expect her and tuffers to have quite the same feel

I saw that Banderas movie on TV recently - except I didn't finish watching it, it was rather poor apart from some of the dancing, and I didn't think that Bandy did that himself. Did he have a stand-in (dance-in, rather) anyone know?

Actually he's got a reasonable voice.

![]() I loved him as Billy Flynn! I must admit I was confused as to his role in a SCD show though until I read about the Katya connection. Quote:

This is just a gimmick and a rather poor one at that......BBC must be scrapping the barrel if they need to do this. Just put on some more Pro dances that will get us all going. That PRO JIVE WAS AMAZING....

I LOVE Richard Gere (despite the hamster rumours) and would love it if he was on SCD. He is a trained dancer/singer - was in Grease on Broadway before he was famous.

I loved him as Billy Flynn in Chicago, and he was in another movie called "Shall we Dance", with Jennifer Lopez playing his dance teacher. Enjoyed it.
