Shane Richie is ABSOLUTELY the best thing about EE at the moment (along with Adam Woodyatt, Jessie Wallace, Pam St Clement and Hilda Braid).

I am SO sick of the frigging Ferreiras and Vicky Fowler - they have made my favourite soap virtually unwatchable lately. Adi Ferreira deserves to be terminated immediately, Nabil wots-is-name deserves an OBE for continuing to turn in believable / sympathetic performances in the midst of such dross and Louise Berridge 'deserves' early retirement for putting us all through the past couple of months.

Thank God someone other than the Fereiras and Vicky have been given storylines! Although some of those were resolved in half an hour
I've always been quietly infuriated with Nana Moon, finding her incredibly irritating, but this latest story looks like it might turn out to be quite interesting, so I'll reserve judgement
The Ian vs Pat mini-story was what I'd term "normal service" EE. Not much really, but it helped bring the story along - Ian having the day from Hell, Pat having been sympathetic to Kate (although I don't know where that friendship sprang from), the window cleaning diversion, bringing it to a natural conclusion at the Nail Bar.
The Mo & Pat coversations in the Vic were ace - just as I was thinking "what? " they start another bitch-fest.
In normal times, I wouldn't think much of it, but in the entertainment desert EE has recently been, it was very welcome. Whoever was the writer tonight - thank you!

The most tense episode ever, watching Ian carry a cake around the square all episode - you just know he's gonna drop it at some point! lol

Classic Eastenders comedy that's what i like!

Did i miss something over the Pat/Mo cake saving incident, they both saved each other a piece of cake and then glowered at each other. i thought it was rather nice of them both. Was it because it was 'nice BIG slice?'

I disagree...alfie moon is RUINING the show...its like the scriptwriters are only taking his character into consideration...they should just call it the alfie moon show and be done with it...i preferred it when the mitchell brothers were running amok...

They're in competition to see who can lose the most weight.

I have to say that I think Shane brings a bit of comedy to EE which is much needed with the 'Ronnie' storyline going on and on and on.....

BTW - Does anyone else think that Ronnie looks like Ross from Friends?

Alie is the most over rated Eastenders character ever. I really don't know where all this hype and popularity sprang from. As far as I can see he's a one dimensional character, never seems to change his temprament. Is always consistently in good mood, even when he's trying to be serious he can't be. Granted it's a nice diversion from the rest of the doom and gloom in Walford but I think he's a bit overrated.

Paul Trueman is the most underrated character at the moment. If the writers could think of a way to give him a good storyline, he would come up trumps. Although his current storyline with Natalie and Janine is good, not the best EE story ever but good.

I'm with you guys, the Ferreiras have to go! Surely characters this unpopular can't afford to be kept in the show. One of the reasons Lynne and Laura were axed was because they were consistently voted the most unpopular characters in the show. And Vicky Fowler aswell, any chance she can be "accidentally" buried alive at Mark's funeral?

Oh and can we please have a spectacular exit for Louise Berridge? Shes' single handedly managed to undo all the good work John Yorke did, she's brought in a rubbish family, given the Slaters rubbish storylines solely for shock factor, has pushed the most ridiculous episode ever, Janine returning to with Barry's ashes less than five days after his death, and expecting us to believe she can write Phil Mitchell back into the show when he's on the run? Only two of the Mitchells are left and she's brought back an 80's character from the dead for yet another rubbish storyline!

they're always miserable.

Has anyone ever seen Adi or Ronnie smile? Even when he was going out with Zoe, he had a face that could stop a clock.

Yeah but maybe that is how they are meant to be portrayed, with a knobhead dad like they have is it any wonder they are always miserable.

yeah but what makes andy hard really lets face it, they were mates when they first appeared but since andy took over from jack dalton thats whats made him seem the hard man his status not muscle. just look he was battered and layed up in bed for ages when dennis was battered he was back running the club and sleeping wit sharon after a bit

Hmm I don't think Andy is the hardman in the sense that he'll roll up his sleeves and have a punch up in the Vic like Steve or Phil. I think we'll see he's the type who will use mind games on people and strike fear in people that way, then when he'll get the muscle men in.

I think he's going to involve Alfie in one or two of his upcoming schemes. Alfie gets the money to bail Charlie out of prison but it doesn't say who from. Then it says Alfie's debt is called in. So I reckon Alfie could be getting a decent storyline, possibly leading up to Andy's revenge for wrecking his wedding to Kat.

Dennis is a hard man but do hard men cry all the time during and after committing a murder? lol

yeah i see your point and both alfie and kat are going to borrow money for charlies bail under strange deals so andy can manipulate them both
As for dennis he may be a hard man but he never wanted to be a murderer which by the way seems to have been forgot he only killed dalon so he didn't get killed. he hated what he did but did it also to get his dad back. this is shown in the episode where they first meet den is dsgusted he did it whilst living with his girls but dennis says he did t for him. See hes hardman with a soft side lol
Spoiler

I agree, and maybe one day Paul might actually get a job! Where does he get his money from? Surely not the empty B&B
