Anyone else loving this song?

Am really surprised that it is now No.1 in the US. Hopefully it'll now get a UK release.

I love this song!

The vid is fab too - as for if it gets a release over in the UK, I guess it depends on whether his US label want to market him over there.

what a brilliant, dreamy & wonderful song this is. i'd never heard of Owl City before hearing yesterday that he got an unexpected US no.1 so i thought i'd check it out.

i too hope it gets a uk release, i've not heard any of his other music yet (might get round to that) but i definitely think Fireflies could do very well over here - as long as it gets released after christmas when the whole x factor circus disappears.

Wow that's surprising this song hasn't been released over there. I would have thought it came out sometime in October. I like this song, I always thought they did a concurrent or close staggered release of music in the US and Europe.

I've been listening to this for a while now but for some reason I just can't really warm to it. Perhaps it's a grower?

As far as I know the album is scheduled for release in the new year (possibly January!). Owl City are doing a small tour around the UK in February. Dates are as follows:

February 17 Brighton, UK Komedia Theatre
February 18 London, UK O2 Academy Islington
February 19 Oxford, UK O2 Academy 2 Oxford
February 20 Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK O2 Academy 2 Newcastle
February 21 Birmingham, UK O2 Academy 2 Birmingham
February 22 Manchester, UK Manchester Academy 3

A friend of mine in the US alerted me to Owl City a month or two ago. I LOVE them. They have 3 releases so far, which are available online through most retailers. By far the best of these is the current album "Ocean Eyes".
