this never used to happen to me, but now when i get a picture message off someone i have to go to retrieve then a bar comes up which goes on for ages then it says retrieving failure, does anyone know why its doing this?

Have you changed your GPRS settings? accidentally? sounds like it's trying to retrieve over GSM.

no not that i know of, its just stared doing it in the last couple of days.
its quite a big mms messgae though (37 kb), i'm wondering if thats why i cant retrieve the message?

Did you change your price plan recently ??? If so the MMS feature may have not carried over.

I would ring cust services on 191 - free from your Vodafone and get them to check that the MMS feature is live at the network.

Trust me it does happen as I work for them. No insults !!

Hi my daughter has just got a panasonicx60 on contract with vodafone, however she can't receive mms, and doesn't have access to a computer. Vodfone have told her that she can't receive mms from any network other than vodafone! And that they are trying to sort out the problem. In the meantime she's left paying for a contract phone that doesn't work properly. Surely these problems should be sorted before the phones are sent out?
