That would be brilliant, if true.

Well if he is as popular as they say he could avoid the dance off even as the numbers get lower and he moves down the board as the new scoring system would be an advantage to him.
I also dont necessarily agree that their wont be many voting at the moment.....just because you dont vote until the final it doesnt mean others dont I always vote from week 1. There was something said in the final weeks when Ramps won where you could roughly work it out. They said how many 'x million' votes they had in the semi and final (everyone went ooohhhh and clapped) and later said how much money had been raised for children in need in total. Using these figures you could work out that about 90% of the money raised came from the semi and final. That left 10% of the money raised to be collected from all the earlier weeks. |

He doesn't really tick most of the traditional SCD personality boxes. His journey is going backwards, he's not that good to look at , I can't see any great personality positives , he's not a bloke's bloke or a bloke's bloke learning to be something else. He's nothing like Darren or Mark or even Tom. He's not funny and his dancing isn't very exciting or good or even comical . He's also not very well known and breakfast TV hasn't helped others by providing that big a fanbase on SCD and other reality TV shows - except with some really bad people . If you wanted to find positives there are other males there who are funnier, trying as hard or better looking.
He's a handsome enough guy in a cheeky chappy way, he obviously has a lot of personality positives for some. He's got a likeability about him, he is funny and he has a certain charm. His fellow breakfast TV presenter, Bill Turnbull, did very well and Chris reminds me a little of him. Chris is a better dancer though. If he can live up to the potential he showed in the first week he could be a definite threat to win the whole thing. Last week was a big step forward. In training I can see that he can do the steps but he needs to deliver that on the night. |

Chris's odds are shortening so there's something in the air... |

I'd be very pleased if Chris is doing well in the public vote.
Somehow I think Mrs Jordan's outfits make her a favourite for the Daily Star editorial staff... |

Actually the Star is very reliable when it comes to voting figures. They were right twice about X Factor Figures last year: They correctly said Eoghan was topping the vote most weeks and that Diana Vickers escaped elimination in the Quarter Final by 0.5%

Good. I'm glad they are doing well. And Tuffers too.
I honestly think the Ricky W, Zoe, Ali (and maybe Laila) contingent just haven't got the personality-factor. I hope Jade is getting votes. I've never been very keen on the actors or the luvvie brigade (oops, forgetting Tom last year but I did prefer Austin). Maybe that's just me... |

Hope that's true. Chris and Ola are my favourite partnership this year, I was hooked by their good first week dances and really like their relationship. Just praying that they can repeat the potential we say week 1.

Can't find anything endearing about him personally (more irritating than anything), am hoping he goes within the next couple of weeks.

Great British Public strike again. They are doing the same with X Factor with the Twins. They cant sing, they are only in the show because that odious little Louis decided to put them there because they are irish like him. Couldnt possibly see them making anything out of it if they won. The public wouldnt buy the music of someone who cant keep to a tune.
Same thing here Chris is rubbish as a dancer but the public are again set to make a mockery of the competition. He isnt very impressive as an actor either. They are mindless idiots out there with more money than sense, psrobably the same set who vote on both shows. |

I am a mindless idot I have been voting for Chris and will continue to do so (along with others) because I look forward to seeing them every week both on the dance floor and on ITT. He isnt a rubbish dancer as his week 1 dances showed he had a couple of bad weeks where he got lost in the routine and is now petrified of going wrong which is affecting his dancing. I have high hopes of him pulling it off and wowing us and I will continue to support him and Ola until such time as I choose not too despite someone calling me a mindless idiot. |

Yeah, I think it's clear that Chris's problems aren't really with dance talent. More with being able to remember the steps and perform them at the same time. I think he could certainly be the equal of Darren Gough if he could manage it.
Oh, and sort his girlie hands out!

Julian won every public vote with the exception of just one week. The final was a different story however! I don't think support now guarantees anything when it comes to the latter stages of the competition.
He's by far my favourite at the moment though. |

If I had to guess at how the voting order was, I'dd have said:
1. Phil 2. Ricky W 3. Ricky G 4. Ali 5. Chris 6. Natalie 7. Laila 8. Craig 9. Zoe 10. Jade |

I'd expect the Star to have this right (I assume they have a source in the production team). Chris ticks all the boxes for a high vote - he's personable and funny, he's shown promise and he doesn't come high enough in the table to be safe from being eliminated in the dance-off. Like others, I suspect not too many viewers are voting at the moment, unless they think their favourite dancer's in danger. There's not a lot of point in voting for Ali or Ricky W yet (unless one of their dances goes terribly wrong) as the judges would undoubtedly save them. The situation changes as the number of couples goes down.

Don;t see him as another John at all, except in his enjoyment of the experience -Chris's scores haven't been anywhere near as bad as JS's. He bounced back well last week and has shown he has potential. Fabulous partnership with Ola, positive attitude, and it's obvious he's enjoying the experience - ticks all the boxes I need to vote for him.![]() Am puzzled as to why people think Ali isn't popular? (Maybe I've not read the right threads, as she and Brian are my other faves and I stick to the positive), but she was just below Zoe on points 2 weeks ago and Zoe dropped below her into the dance-off, so she must be getting some votes? Understand about the "wasted" votes being a factor though, due to scores.

Jade 10 Zoe with some change about from week to week but the weaker score ones have got to be near the top of they would be in the dance off. |

Good news if it's true
![]() He's pretty popular on our forum, and I can imagine him appealing to the wider audience as well. |
