When I came downstairs this morning the clock was evident on my Foxsat PVR. The time was just after 7am UK time and to the best of my knowledge no recordings were scheduled at around that time.

The hard disk could be heard.

I used the remote to switch on and it showed the PVR to be tuned in to BBC1

Using the remote I put the PVR back into standby and it closed down.

Enlightenment would be appreciated.

Mine has also done this the once. I assume for some reason after its 3AM housekeeping it never went back into standby for whatever reason.

I'm sure other people have reported this happening before - I wouldn't worry about it unless it starts happening on a regular basis.

I think it maybe a housekeeping thing, however it was Hallowe’en yesterday so it could have been a ghost in the machine.
