Holly Valance. Gone home
THANK GOD
Holly Valance - who once said Brits were "bitter and twisted" - has reportedly returned to her native Australia. She has quit Britain after a series of big blows to her career, says the Daily Mirror. It claims she has "fled back home" with her Warners record deal hanging by a thread and unlikely to be renewed when it runs out in four months' time. A source said to be close to the singer told the paper: "She's no longer in her London flat and her stuff is in storage." The former Neighbours star has been taking acting classes in an attempt to crack Hollywood, it reports. A "friend" said: "She's really keen to be taken seriously - she doesn't want to have to take her clothes off. "But casting directors don't see her as a classical actress and she's really frustrated." Holly's recent record career has been disappointing. Her State Of Mind album failed to reach the top 20 following its release last November. Her public image also took a dive after her negative comments about Britons in an interview last year. A spokesman for the singer said: "As of today Holly is still with Warners." |

Good riddance.
Totally overrated musicly and looks wise. And as for living here and hating, I'm glad she's buggered off back to where she came from. |

Dont make me laugh!! She didnt mind getting her kit off all the time to try and disguise the fact she cant actually sing I'm all for people who say what they think but I always found that she came across that she thought she was a lot better than she really is in interviews. Its telling that most of her Neighbours co stars havent got a good word to say about her. Good riddence I say. |

i'd still shag her though!
she was voted in some shitty newspaper top sexist women in the world. what i dont get is why they only put celebs into that and not ppl from the public who may be even more sexier. there are alot of ppl who look just as gud as jay-lo, but if ure not a celeb it doesnt matter. |

I work with a lot of Aussies and the one thing that unites them all is "They HATE Whingers!" wherever they come from.
I haven't heard many positive comments from my Aussie pals on her acting prowess either. Good decision all round IMO...so,give us a call when you've got less time Holly.

I saw her at a Huddersfield nightclub last November-it cost £10 in, and she was on stage for about six or seven minutes, miming 'Kiss Kiss' and 'State Of Mind'. Utter dross.

I didn't mind her until she started making nasty comments about the very people she was hoping would buy her cds, and in whose country she was living.....talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face!
She was once, allegedly, interviewed for a local radio station in the UK because she had a single out. She was SO unco-operative, it was decided not to air the interview. Good career move, Hols! Seems someone has a bad case of being too big for her pretty little boots! |

I don't think we'll be seeing Holly again, I think you can say her career is dead, music wise anyway...especially when her 2nd album flopped. She may do modelling and acting jobs in the future but on a small scale, though until it runs dry. She was very promising in 2002, debuting at No.1 with 'Kiss Kiss'. then 3 other top 10 singles. Its a very bad idea to start calling the brits this and that, we're quite used to it from American artists, but not from Aussies...its a different matter, especiallly when you've come to base yourself here.
When her fellow Neighbours cast member Delta Goodrem came along last yer, I was really impressed, not only by her music, but her style, acting, personality and very lady-like manner. Unlike Delta, Holly never made me go and buy her records....simply because Delta is 10 times better in every way. Shame we got Holly and not Delta staying here... Holly Valance in years to come will really regret the things she said, mark my works...while shes working in McDonalds. |

She maybe could not take that a country beat her native land in the rugby world cup. I also say that Delta is way better. At least she does not show off. |

0 - 8 - 0 - 0 R - E - V - E -R -S -E *deep american voice off* I haven't seen an 0800REVERSE advert in ages, apart from on their website. Which channel do they keep on showing them on? Quote:

Well they only put celebs in that probably because a) people wouldn't be interested which member of Joe Public is sexiest. b) they probably get paid lots of money for the publicity and can charge lots for appearances and stuff because of it. |

Nobody forced her to takes her clothes off so she should just keep quiet!
She can't sing and wasn't provided with good songs. It's as simple as that. Delta Goodrem I love however. |
