SCD could boost their ratings if they got decent guests on the show, like X Factor. They get Whitney Houston, Robbie Williams, Michael Buble and SCD get Amy Winehouse's cousin and the Bee Gees. They're not going to appeal to the younger generation very much.

I'm 22 and it appeals to me. Thought the Bee Gees were brilliant.

to be fair...whitney was quite clearly...off her head, and so was robbie.
i'm 19 and i was MAJORLY looking forward to the bee gees, its a dance show and they are disco legends. but there comes a time when you should stop performing live.

It's just my personal opinion and guesswork. I'm 21 and I much prefer the X Factor guests, as do the majority of my friends.

thats fair enough i was looking forward to robbie myself, and i am partial to a bit of whitney! but it was disappointing to see robbie completely wired. and whitney touching her nose all the time...does look as though x factor is a stepping stone between rehab and a full tour!

They got set up so quickly, I think they were miming.

For me, it doesn't work "revisiting" all that falsetto nonsense.

If we have to "go back" I'd rather have had Motown.

if they were miming the voices would have been perfect.

They were clearly miming from the moment they opened their mouths.

Robin was half a second out of lip sync all the way through the song.

As a fan, I was very disappointed as I'd been looking forward to the Bee Gees being on the show, but it was a dire performance with no actual singing and probably not too many instruments being played.

In fairness, I suppose it's possible that Barry can no longer hit the high notes, especially You Should be Dancing which is very high all the way through, but if that was the case, their back catalogue is big enough for them to have done a song which they could've sang live.

They were terrible indeed, way past their sell by date. Harry Connick was very good though last week.

Barry did the falsetto thing better when his trousers were tighter.
Nowadays the belly flops over the waistline.
Nice to see Robin with a new rug after years of wearing hats.

Nice to see me old pal Jody Linscott on the congas.

Still the Brothers Gibb were at least better than the truly dire Spandau Ballet.

I dont think Robin wore hats wigs yes. Their late brother Maurice was the one in the hats.

I liked the Bee Gees. Though my mum was sitting looking disgusted at me but she never liked that kind of music and sat moaning about it all night anyway . And I'm 20 just so you know .

I've come to the pretty accurate conclusion no band I like will ever be on Strictly (well nearly all the bands I like) so I don't really mind anyway.
