If it were simply a dance competition there'd be no point in Tess asking us to save our 'favourite'. My favourite isn't the best dancer so I don't expect them to reach the final 4.

I knew the moment Ali and Zoe were announced as being in the bottom two Zoe was going . I love Zoe and she's one of my favourites and I don't think she should have gone.

It happens though every year. I could probably sit here and moan about couples that went through but its not going to make me feel better . Neither should have been in the dance off but I can kind of understand why they were.

Well I would not agree with that, how many times did Tess say "its his Birthday"? All through the competition he has been on about getting to Blackpool.
Its a shame at this stage to loose good dancers. Ricky must be rubbing his hands with glee that the opposition is going , will the final be him against Craig?

... the BBC.

They have not stopped harping on about Craig and Blackpool for the last three weeks. Of course he was going to get there at the expense of a really good dancer. Thanks Beeb - even Claudia succumbed to the B word.

How does this still shock and disgust people?

"I can't believe this has happened" says Len.

It happens once a series at least. He, and everyone else, really should believe it by now.

how can it be a disgrace when the public phone in???? are you saying that the people who watch/vote are a disgrace for having their own opinions? and that they go against yours?

I don't know why everyone is blaming Craig. There are other dancers that are worse than Zoe and Ali e.g. Phil, Natalie and Ricky Groves so they should be getting a bit of the backlash.

Fifteen minutes is not long enough for voting is it? Doesn't the XFactor get 24 hours?

Zoe was reasonably good (not convinced about her Latin), but she was never going to be a true contender.

So I doubt Ricky W's path is any clearer after tonight.

And no one forced the viewers to vote for Craig (no matter how many times he mentioned his birthday). They did so of their own free will and that's their choice.

Every year we have the odd surprise exit. I thought people might accept it as part and parcel of the show by now!

This is a very good point.

Sid, I so agree with your posts. This sums it up totally.

If there was no such thing as the power of suggestion, Derren Brown would be out of a job.

Personally, I'm not suscpetible to being brainwashed into voting for a humourless, characterless, dullard who can't dance.

I am sooo glad that Ali and Brian got saved. It wasn't her best week by a long chalk but still she is amazing

I did like Zoe and James too and its a shame that they left.

But i really do wonder about the amount of time we get to vote and if many people bother? I bet the amount of votes cast are much less this year.

Only if Tess asked us to vote for the best dancer.

But she doesn't.

She asks us to vote for our favourites, and for some viewers, that happens to be Craig.
