She can't half glare - that Natalie woman....Gives you the heebie-jeebies....
Call me shallow but her eyes are SO far apart, alien like. She creeps me out. Don't enjoy watching her at all. Cold as ice.

I think people just CAN'T forgive him for not being a bad dancer. He's good - how DARE he?!
Exactly - this happened week one before he had even really said anything he and Natalie were slated after that it had been anything he says or does he can do nothing right.

Thank goodness DS does not represent the public.
He is an amazing dancer and that dance last night blew me away. Both my children who do not watch strictly watched him and both when speaking to me asked who he was said he was amazing.
Look foward to seeing Ricky and Natalie in the final with Ali and Brian and ?

Well if the children were impressed, who am I to argue?

Fortuitous though that your children don't watch SCD, but broke the habit of a lifetime to see Ricky's 'amazing' performance.

I've lost count of the number of times posters have invoked the opinion of the kids, dad, granddad and even Great Auntie Mary to somehow justify their own views. Surprisingly none of these usually take an interest in the programme - but their views whether good or bad coincide with the poster.

What did the cat and the dog think?

That is exactly what my husband said last night. He never watches SCD so has no idea who anyone is but last night he got strangely interested as he walked passed the tv when Ola was on wearing her catsuit . He actually watched the whole thing with me and commented on several people, but when Natalie came on he mentioned her eyes straight away. I hadn't noticed but I see what he means.

I can't deny he's a good dancer but I'd vote for amost anyone rather than him (Craig being the exception)
Puzzling to say the least. Is the idea not to vote for a good dancer theN?

Glad it's not just me then! I only notice people's eyes when they are extremely close together or extremely far apart! (IMO).

I think the failure to achieve popularity of those you mention, was based on what many perceived as overmarking.
They're all overmarked, so why is that a reason to take against a contestant?

I think hubbie summed when we were discussing it. Ricky W is in a different league to everyone else dancing wise but there's no personality to his dancing nothing of him in it, it's all too slick and doesn't engage as a result. It seems like he finds it too easy and doesn't need to put the performance in. I personally want Jade to win as I think she combines talent with personality and I find her performances more enjoyable. To a less extent the same goes for Ricky's namesake.

Zoe was a superb dancer and on ability alone should have made the final and possibly: but the public perceived her to be overmarked. She clung to Ian like a limpet and some found the 'luvviness' cloying.
What are you talking about?

To put it in context: I thought Mark R was an incredibly boring man, but he was a good dancer - so who cares?

My cat was bored ,, he perked up for Olas dance / catsuit and was seen to cower under the video unit while the BeeGees sang/ wailed . I think he was terrified he was next to be strangled .
He only came out just in time to catch Mathew Cutlers sizzling dance and even he purred at the hotness of it

He looked very angry at the dance off and flicked his tail at the result
I asked what he thought of Rickys dance and he turned hi head in disdain and washed his underbelly

It's how I saw it Christa. When I said "she clung to Ian like a limpet" I was referring to her pawing him in front of the judges. The luvviness manifested itself in her attitude to the judges (awwww thank you) and her effusive praise of Ian.

He is of course talented, lovely, amazing, and patient, but when hearing Zoe describing his virtues it was almost like drowning in treacle.

Mark had personality in abundance on the dance floor, regardless of how introverted he was off it. I don't really see any personality in Ricky W's dancing at all, but I'm certainly not going to pick arguments with those who find him exciting. Different strokes and all that!

The fact that my husband pointed out that Natalies eyes are far apart as Cressida pointed out.

As far as I know eye width has no effect on dance ability. I may be wrong though. I am no expert
