It's looks like someone has been to the school of metal. I've liked the odd Ash track in the past, but they've also been a bit too pop punk for my liking. But I'm loving their new single. Are there any long term Ash fans that have thoughts on their new 'sound'?

I used to like ash...i loved songs such as girl from mars...shining light etc (all the old favourites) but the new sound does worry me...i think they are going to ruin their legacy and lose their record contract...their new sound is absolutely blooming terrible...the fact that i hated bands with that sound is why i turned to ashs music in the first place...it is a huge letdown...

I'm not a long term ash fan, but I am a long term metal fan.... Ash in metal shock!
I hated their earlier stuff (Girl from Mars, etc)... was bought Free all Angels as a pressie and liked about a quarter of it..... but I'm liking the idea of Metal Ash! Have not heard the new single yet... might have to go out of my way to take a listen...
