OK guys its cards on the table time........

As a fully signed up member of the 'I voted for John Sergeant' brigade I would be interested in knowing how far you would go in voting for an underdog.

As I said I voted for John last year during the early weeks but stopped the week before he left as I decided I couldnt risk someone I liked who was a better dancer be knocked out. Fortunately last year there was more than one 'good' dancer that I was happy to see go to the end.

This year I am voting for Chris Ricky G and Jade from the 'top 5' but not interested in voting for any of the others in the top group because they dont grab my attention.

The question I am asking myself and of those of you who are also voting for any of the bottom 5 how far would you take it.

If Chris and Ricky G dont improve dancing wise would I be happy to see them in the final over Ali or Ricky W ???

Those of you voting for Craig do you want to see him lift the glitterball (dont answer that bhoy I already know the answer) or are you only taking it so far.

I have to say I am conflicted this year as its the first time I have not had a vested interest in any of the better dancers (except Jade who is growing on me)

I'd vote for someone I like.
But that may not be the best dancer.
I wouldn't vote for Ali.
And I'm going off Laila.
I'm not fond of Craig.

But I like all the others and there's plenty of time left....so I could go off them or get a major enthusiasm for just one!

For me to win Strictly being the best technician is not good enough to secure my vote.

They need to be a decent dancer technically- but they also need to be entertaining for the right reasons with a personality as well

Tick those three boxes and you'll get my vote

That is why I am supporting Cola and Erick

If Chris had not put in a good dance last week, my interest may have lessoned in his and Ola's partnership. Out of the top 5 last night the only one I have any interest in is Jade, but she is still below Chris and Tuffers in my interest stakes.

It all depends, I've voted for some right "carthorses" in the past because they've entertained me. The only time I felt actual remorse was when I voted for Schmicahel (sp) and Ray Fearon went out.

I always vote in the final but, generally (with the exception of Darren Gough who I really, really didn't like) I vote for who I think is best on the night. Personality does count for a lot in SCD but, in the final I do tend to want who I think is the better dancer on the night to pick up the Glitterball.

I have never voted for the underdog, I usually vote for my favourite, last year it was Austin when he was voted out I gave my votes to Tom. This year I voted for Zoe and James, I was really drawn into their partnership and progress, so I suppose they were my favourites, now I think I will vote for the best dancers...who bar mishaps should win it by a mile.

My problem this year is that I am not really fussed about any of the better dancers (with the exception of Jade) but I am not convinced that any of my favourites are really good enough dancers to lift the trophy and for me this is a first for SCD I have always in the past had a favourite who was also a great dancer.

I am worried that Jade will get voted out in a dance off against Ali ro Ricky W or Laila and then what !!!!

ofcourse Chris could pull it out of the bag and really really improve and thats what I am keeping my fingers crossed for.

If he doesnt and Jade leaves I may have to give this series up as a lost cause.

I look for someone who can dance to a reasonably good level, but someone I also find entertaining - and that comes from their presentation, personality and dancing partnership.

I never vote for underdogs. I vote only on the above criteria. At the moment I enjoy watching Chris & Ola and Ricky & Erin overall more than the others.

I'll be voting tactically to make sure Ricky Whittle doesn't win. Can't warm to him. Love Jade, Hoping she can last .

Ricky Wittle has the Jive to do at some point too which might not be pretty with his 'bandy' legs.

That is the only dance left where I think he might suffer. Hopefully Natalie can choreograph something clever to take our eyes away from it but, it's not looking good. My other concern is if he gets to the semis the AT might also look a little clumsy.

TBH I haven't actually voted at all this season.

I was disappointed to see Martina fall in week 1 (rav really really should have gone then), but since then I haven't been unhappy with the departures so far. Even last night, whilst amazed to see the who the bottom 2 were - I wasn't unhappy with who went, as I don't honestly think Zoe & James were really in with a shot of winning whereas Ali & Brian are (at the moment) the only ones with a chance of beating Ricky & Natalie.

Next week is Craig's time to go - he has got his brithday pressie from the voters and he has got to Blackpool - that's enough.

I will be voting for Jade & Ian from the ranks of the "good" dancers and Chris & Ola from the "personality/ journey" ones.

I very rarely vote, even for my favourites but, if I am watching the live show and the judges are particularly venomous I will vote for an underdog. I voted several times for Kate Garroway and I voted for Matt Di when he had his wipeout moment because I thought he deserved another chance.

There are some celebs I would not vote for if my life depended on it because I just don't care for them, great dancers or not.

I'll vote for my favourite till they leave then hope to god I can find someone else. I don't really have an issue with who wins and them being the best dancer there was, mainly because if that's the criteria we might as well just give Ricky W the trophy now and call it quits IMO.

As many have said - if you just go by the best dancer then give it to Whittle right now. I want to see effort and overcoming setbacks and stuff.

It just looks so easy for him. Good for him. But I'm so over him.

I tend to vote based on mixture of personal favourites and quality of the dance.

I've voted for Zoe most weeks this year as I like her and have enjoyed the dances. However I couldn't bring myself to vote for her on Saturday because to my eyes the dance was horrible and wasn't worth the 15p for a phonecall.

So I will support a favourite up to a point but if the dance doesn't measure up then I stop.

I agree up to a point. I think he's been over-praised and over-marked most of this series.

But I loved his dance on Saturday. The first dance this series that made me go wow. And if he can keep that level up then I wouldn't begrudge him winning even though he isn't my favourite by a long way.

Towards the beginning I'll vote for people I like regardless, but only for the first few weeks. After that I tend to vote for people I think deserve to go through. Not necessarily who I think should win overall, but I tend to go week to week.

I haven't voted for years, not since the scandal about vote rigging ! (can't remember what channel that was though) I'm rather more cynical these days and prefer to watch and see how it unfolds.

I vote for whoever I like best from the bottom half of the table until my favourite ends up in the bottom 2, then they get my vote until the/their end. This means that thus far this series I have voted for Rav, Chris, Craig and Tuffers all, but from now on nobody other Jade is in with a sniff.
