I don't normally vote for total outsiders or no hopers (in fairness I've only actually voted once this series) but the handful that are engaging are, arguably, the ones who are in the middle of the table. It's so rare when you have that special combination wrapped up in one contestant. And it pains me as someone who loves watching Strictly for the dancing to say that if it came down to a three way final between Ali, Ricky and Tuffers - I'd vote Tuffers!”

At the rate we are going, I think we could well be looking forward to a three-way final between Ricky W, Phil Tuffnell and Chris Hollins - followed by a showdance showdown between Tuffers and Chris ...

Servalan,

You can never be too much of an anorak. I still remember Lesley Judd showing us how to make a Blake's 7 bracelet on Blue Peter.

The programme was never the same once Space Commader Travis had been done in!

I'm the world's only Tarrant fan, if you think you're in the minority with Soolin!

As for blaming Craig for Zoe's departure, it's all cause and effect. People might blame Craig for pleading openly to get him to Blackpool but I'm sure at the same time he wouldn't have wanted Zoe to go in his place. Yet it's a contest, and even although his dancing was less worthy, it's really anyone's for the taking, potentially. I'm pretty sure having fulfilled his dream of reaching Blackpool he'll be unceremoniously dumped at the end of Saturday's show. The public are fickle. Dance-off one week, saved the next.

Beware the better dancers, I say. I don't think they are getting the votes.
What name??

And the judges of course for not giving honest opinions. I think those judges who reacted as if Bruno and Craig are being mean for giving an honest opinion were being deceitful and stoking up the sympathy vote. It's a bit two faced when they then complain about the results.

It would be more honest to admit he can't dance but to give him credit for making an effort every week and coping with the criticsim - even though I'm still not sure that this is because he is delusional enough to think the criticism is unfounded or whether he is having a laugh.

Well I hope Craig will have at least another week in the SCD/ Personality comp, just to see if all the people who were so happy to see the back of Zoe and James will have the same blasé attitude if one of their favourites gets outed next sat... thinking Chris/Jade/Natalie, although imo all three should have gone before Zoe.

I too would like Craig stay another week to see Ali, Laila, Natalie or Ricky Groves get knocked out.

I would be very disappointed to see Craig stay at Jade's expense - but I wouldn't blame Craig. He doesn't physically force anyone to vote for him and as far as I know he's not blackmailing the voting public to support him. Nor would I blame his supporters - their money, their choice.

Although I did not agree with Craig's constant begging to go to Blackpool, I think James Jordan should perhaps wonder if his venom aimed at John Sargeant, when the latter stepped down last year, is part of the reason he and Zoe ended up in their second dance off?

James had stated that "it's a dance contest" on the Saturday when he and Cherie Lunghi were voted off. John and Kristina stood down about 48 hours later - then James was interviewed on ITT and called John a "coward" for not continuing!

Stupid, stupid boy James - the British public have long memories and you do not call a man who has reported from every war zone known to man - and been famously handbagged by Mrs Thatcher - a coward! Not for standing down from a TV dance contest.

I think James is the reason that he and Zoe were in two dance offs.

I agree - watch Chris and Phil and Ricky G fly!
I hope it's not at Jade's expense

I like James Jordan and think he and Zoe were great together, but I do think that actually his coreography might not have done them any favours. It's usually good, but it was a bit dull this time. Too much of the disco stuff, not enough pzazz.

However, even she was in the bottom 2 at one stage.

I think it says a lot about girls tbh. Some of them blame men for everything, but women are generally very bitchy about each other.”

And yet it didn't help Mark Foster, Spoony or Ray Fearon. Many of the women you mentioned suffered from percieved over-marking by the judges - Emma from having obvious advantages of a stage school background and practice doing cheographed routinues which does give you an edge in this, Zoe had recent had well documented marriage problems - there hadn't been a male winner before that year and she was training over the hours percieved by some as cheating and I think her personality grated on some people, Rachel was bland off and sometimes on the dancefloor and Lisa was hampered by her crying fits and the fact that Brendan threw hissy fits everytime he thought they'd been under-marked.

Geth was probably helped through weeks were his latin was a bland by his looks as some higher up in the leaderboard ended up in the DO and out and Matt through his meltdown by them but you can't deny that they were amongst the more talented dancers in the competition that year and at the end of the day neither of them won.

I don't buy the jealus hatus arguement there are a lot of reasons why someone does or doesn't get votes. The blokes getting the votes this year are apart from Ricky W not obvious hotties either.

I was surprised it has taken so long for the judges to start moaning about the bottom two - being put there by the public (who in the judges opinion, dont know what they are doing!!!). And it was grumpy Len who finally said something!!! To give Craig RH his due he kept his opinions to himself.”

Why any credit? He is a crap dancer, he has not improved, and will not improve, he just hasn't got it. I can only assume he has a lot of friends voting for him. As for the judges favourites, if they have any, its because they are the best dancers.

100% correct, although I wouldn't put it quite like that!

I think if Ricky W and Ali went out soon then it would make SCD more interesting as none of us would then have a clue who was going to get top of the leaderbaord every week

I'm not a Craig fan and think he should have gone weeks ago. However it's not his fault Zoe left - she didn't enough public votes and then the judges decided to save Ali.

This year there are 4/5 contestants who are not the best dancers but are very popular with the public. Even when Craig leaves eventually at least one of the better dancers could still end up in the bottom 2 as the more popular ones are saved by the public. Worst case scenario is that the 2 best dancers each week will be in the DO.

I blame Craig for everyone who has left so far leaving. The reason? He, Craig, was the worst competitor from the beginning.

I hope your tongue is in your cheek there because otherwise can you seriously say he was worse than Richard Dunwoody, Joe Calzagy and Jo Wood (who broke a lowest ever score for the first time since Kate Garroway manged it with the easy target of the salsa - easy because it hadn't been around for that long) I mean really?

People shouldn't blame Craig because it's not his fault that people are voting for him!! If we blame anyone, it's the voters!

Craig is worse than Dunwoody, Calzaghe and Wood as far as I'm concerned. I agree with Len, he should have left when in the dance-off with Richard!

Let's also remember that Craig was joint bottom with Ricky G so if people are blaming Craig they should also blame Ricky.

Seriously why? I just put it down to Len's preduice in favour of sportsmen - I mean Richard is a lovely guy but he made Craig look like Colin Jackson in comparison.
