And im sorry but lloyd was imo much better than ethan at judges house...lloyd has more distinctive voice

I would have loved Ethan to remain, but admittetdly just to look at him every week.
I'd have chosen him overr Joe. It's not that Joe's not a good singer, but I don't think he has the right style for the show.
I was really disappointed that Daniel wasn't put forward in the over 25s instead of Jamie.

He has a better voice than Lloyd, more charisma than Rikki, and is more contemporary than Joe (though he does deserve to be there) so can't think what Cheryl's motives were for excluding him.

I think neither Cheryl or Will were enamoured with him at the judges house. Will said in an interview this week that he'd liked 5 out of the six in that group, and he thought that they had put through the three who had given the best performances at the judges house, which is basically all they could do at that time.
Ethan would have won but only so we could all ogle him throughout the competition - his vocals were definitely not good enough and Joe is the best vocalist in the competition.

Only agree with bit in bold. But Ethan was no where as good as Duane. Should, imo, have been Joe, Duane Rikki.

Ethan couldn't sing..But he was sooo hott! And he should've gone through instead of Lloyd or Rikki. Cus Lloyd has a worse voice and Rikki was just plain annoying!

I agree that he would've done better then Rikki.
Rikki: 1. couldn't sing well 2. wasn't 'HOT' 3. Scottish vote
Lloyd: 1. can sing ok 2. is cute 3. Welsh vote
Ethan: 1. couldn't sing well 2. was HOT 3. american
i think the reason cheryl chose/was told to choose Lloyd over Ethan was cuz Lloyd is more cute rather than hot so loads of teen girls LOVE him and want to marry him etc... and he's welsh so he has Wales supporting him too (obviously not the WHOLE of wales but you know what I mean).

Pipkin elf is perhaps one of the more genteel descriptions I have thought of Mrs Cole of late.
I have to say, I do not understand the manner in which this nation confers "National Treasure" status upon people. It points to a rather baffling collective morality. I mean, there are people by virtue of their beliefs or behaviour, people who rise above their celebrity and understand the responsibilities of it, and then there are those who wallow and swill within it.
Mrs Cole dwells firmly in the latter for myself, and I cannot for the life of me understand this saintly crown bestowed upon such a woman with such little effort on her part.
