'I Will Always Love You' is actually from 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas'. Dolly Parton wrote it for that film and sang it in it. Then the awful Whitney Houston murdered it several years later in 'The Bodyguard'.

Danyl - Everybody's Talkin' (Midnight Cowboy)

Lloyd - Footloose (Footloose)
Joe - She's Like the Wind (Dirty Dancing)
Twins - Eye of the Tiger (Rocky 3)

Actually, The Twins could go with my earlier idea of Stealers Wheel 'Stuck in the Middle with you', it's from a film, there's a dance routine, of a sort, involved, dress them both as Mr Blonde and they could cut Lloyd's ear off at the end

I expect I Will Always Love You may be Lucie's sing off song if she was in the bottom 2, Show Me Heaven by Maria Mckee would be good for her

I agree - Show Me Heaven would be so much better for Lucie.

There's so much scope with this theme!

Someone should do Decode from Twilight. Simon will probably give Danyl Mad World from Donnie Darko.

I expect there is always a chance that Stacey will do Somewhere Over The Rainbow

Danyl or maybe Olly should do Try A Little Tenderness from the Commitments and The Twins really should do Everybody Needs somebody to love from The Blues Brother and really get the audience involved

If he did, it would be interesting to hear the arrangement of the second verse ........................... that is all I will say about that

I was thinking something from Rocky Horror Picture Show right away for the twins.

Will we be getting, "Wouldn't It Be Luverly?" from Stacey.

The Climb is more suited for Lucie, Lloyd don't have the voice to pull it off

Kiss Me and She's Like The Wind did cross my mind - although I was thinking of SLTW for Olly, could see it working for Joe too

Lucie - Can't Fight The Moonlight (LeAnn Rimes, Coyote Ugly), love this song choice but if not, maybe Nobody Does It Better (Carly Simon, The Spy Who Loved Me)

Stacey - Don't Get Me Wrong (Pretenders, Bridget Jones's Diary) or even Just A Girl (Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion) or Lay All Your Love On Me (ABBA, Mamma Mia) or if she could handle the choreography, Flashdance... What A Feeling (Irene Cara, Flashdance) Should be a good week for the girls

Joe - Sandy (John Travolta, Grease) - would also suggest Rule The World (Take That, Stardust - love the song but it's been used on XF before and I always try to pick songs never before used in the live shows lol )

Lloyd - About A Boy (Badly Drawn Boy, About A Boy) or Thunderbirds Are Go (Busted, Thunderbirds)

Jamie - Hero (Chad Kroeger, Spider Man)

Danyl - The Sweetest Goodbye (Maroon 5, Love Actually) - seeing as Simon doesn't mind using non-singles for Danyl, it is from a huge film and a huge album

Olly - If not SLTW....hmm, I'm A Believer (Shrek) maybe? He could also do Have You Met Miss Jones (another Bridget Jones song, by Robbie) or a De Lovely song (probably De Lovely itself, also by Robbie lol) - might be a little too predictable though

Jedward - If none of the above, which are all excellent ideas, any parody, romantic duet or song containing a spoken section could work well for them! A few obvious contenders have been mentioned here, will see if I can think of any more!

I don't actually watch many films, so I suggest a similar range of songs every time this theme is used, but my suggestions are never used! Grrr!

Lucie - For your eyes only (For your eyes only - James Bond)
Stacey - Take my breath away - Top Gun
Danyl - Sandy (Grease)
Lloyd - When you say nothing at all (Notting Hill)
Twins - Everybody needs somebody (The Blues Brothers)
Joe - Never Ending Story (Never Ending Story)
Jamie - St Elmo's Fire (The man in motion) (St Elmo's Fire)
Ollie - Love is All Around (Four Weddings and a Funeral)

That was my favourite performance of the series .

I think Jamie should do Aeroplane from American Pie: Band Camp. No chance of it happening but he would do that so well.

The only one I can think of is Olly to do You Know My Name by Chris Cornell (Casino Royale)

Lucie needs to stay away from diva stuff - she's starting to find her identity and it would be a backward step.

I'd like to see J+E do Big Bottoms by Spinal Tap and go out in utterly tasteless glory.
