Danyl: Everything I Do I Do It For You (Bryan Adams)
Jamie: Blaze of Glory (Bon Jovi)
Olly: Eye of the Tiger (Survivor)

Lucie: Stuck in the Middle With You (Stealer's Wheel)
Stacey: Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend (Marilyn Monroe)

Joe: Footloose (Kenny Loggins)
Lloyd: I Believe I Can Fly (R. Kelly)

John and Edward: Ghostbusters (Ray Parker Jr.)

Stacey's choice will give her a chance to move while not pushing her voice too far. I'd love Joe to get a up tempo song this week, and think he could cope with Footloose. I think Lucie needs to keep uptempo for now, and Stuck in the Middle has a rock element to it. The rest are pretty much self explanatory.

I'm not sure bout J&E doing HSM seeing as Same Difference did that...

Wow you may have picked the right choice for Lloyd seeing as he did sing R kelly really well in audtions, if Danyl get's Everything I Do he might as well pack his bags

Someone on another thread suggested the Time Warp for the Twins

Please let them do it - it would bring the house down

It has the compulsory long note, though. I think his voice is very much like Bryan Adams' so I think he'd do a good job with it.

I take my twins choice back though. Time Warp would be superb.

EDIT: Even better, Brian can't muck about with the choreography then. It's all in the words.

Lucie - Can't Fight The Moonlight (LeAnn Rimes, Coyote Ugly), love this song choice but if not, maybe Nobody Does It Better (Carly Simon, The Spy Who Loved Me)

Stacey - Don't Get Me Wrong (Pretenders, Bridget Jones's Diary) or even Just A Girl (Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion) or Lay All Your Love On Me (ABBA, Mamma Mia) or if she could handle the choreography, Flashdance... What A Feeling (Irene Cara, Flashdance) Should be a good week for the girls

Joe - Sandy (John Travolta, Grease) - would also suggest Rule The World (Take That, Stardust - love the song but it's been used on XF before and I always try to pick songs never before used in the live shows lol )

Lloyd - About A Boy (Badly Drawn Boy, About A Boy) or Thunderbirds Are Go (Busted, Thunderbirds)

Jamie - Hero (Chad Kroeger, Spider Man)

Danyl - The Sweetest Goodbye (Maroon 5, Love Actually) - seeing as Simon doesn't mind using non-singles for Danyl, it is from a huge film and a huge album

Olly - If not SLTW....hmm, I'm A Believer (Shrek) maybe? He could also do Have You Met Miss Jones (another Bridget Jones song, by Robbie) or a De Lovely song (probably De Lovely itself, also by Robbie lol) - might be a little too predictable though

Jedward - If none of the above, which are all excellent ideas, any parody, romantic duet or song containing a spoken section could work well for them! A few obvious contenders have been mentioned here, will see if I can think of any more!

I don't actually watch many films, so I suggest a similar range of songs every time this theme is used, but my suggestions are never used! Grrr!

I like your choice for Lucie

Definitely the twins to do Time Warp. That would make my week.

Jamie needs to do something slower and relatively unaccompanied - doing something rock every week will murder his chances. Another 'Hurt' style song would be good.

I wish I could suggest something but I don't watch the movies!

I was simply correcting the person who said it was from 'The Bodyguard' - it originally came from 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas'. So it could be introduced as 'I will always love you' from 'The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas'.

Decode would be amazing, but never gonna happen. Plus, would have been more rocky than anything we've heard this weekend!

Also, problem with someone doing Mad World is that for me (and probs for Simon) they will get compared to the Adam Lambert version (which Simon gave a standing ovation to)

How about A Whole New World for John and Edward?!

Well, they may sing it in tune more than Katie Price did...

Thanks, it's been one of my favourite song choices out of all my own this year, for quite a while now! Even more so since last night though - would be a great follow up to SCOM, which prompted me to give Lucie my first vote of the series

How about my other choices?

Well seeing as Simon hasn't been backward in giving standing ovations to his acts this year, particularly Danyl, it wouldn't surprise me if he gave a standing ovation for one of them performing Mad World with their armpit.

Just watching "never mind the buzzcocks" on DAVE. The ghostbuster's theme tune for J&E.

Yeah, I thought that. The simplicity of it would be easier on them than Time Warp which has verses. But Time Warp would be horrendously funny.

That would be immense, complete with the customary dance.

What film was the time warp from?
