Rachel has been given a huge platform to show her talent, just like Jenifer Hudson was. It's up to her how she capitalises on it, but she's got a significant advantadge over the average unknown female singer trying to break into the music industry. .”

God I hate this term plenty of ''good black females'' singers. Shall we write off Lucie and Stacey's chances of success because there are plenty of 'Good white female'' singers. Nobody ever uses this line when it comes to white female singers. It doesnt really matter how many good white or black singers there are it doesnt mean that they shouldnt bother. The music industry is all about taking chances, there isnt an imaginary quota for certain types of singers. Labels sign artists all the time. They dont say sorry we wont even bother with you because we already have enough people like you already. Why do new singers in the same genre come out every year if the quota was alreay filled.
