lol more pop, some hearts was far more pop than this, virtually half and half

Me I love it - far better than the two opening albums which contained huge high points but also lows. Here the consistency is far better.

More importantly she is showing on this album why she is without question the best female vocalist on the planet under 30. We all know that she can glory note all day long but the falsetto on the album is incredible as are the reigned back subtle tones that are far more in evidence on this album. She is learning to control that instrument and is cementing her place with the legends in country music. Incredible that a vocalist from Idol has made such an impact

I predict some day when I stop loving you, temporary home, look at me and what can I say will still be around and played years from now. Of the up tempos songs like this is the killer track

Finally the first two albums were not personal in many respects, this is a girl in love and if you look into the matter you will see the album tells the tale

Cowboy Casonova into quitter into mamas song is an arc of her experiences

I really like it - her voice sounds phenomenal on it.

After listening to it again, while she is a very good singer none of the songs really stand out, Temporary Home is the only one that does anything for me and even its not 100% either

I think if you keep listening, you'll find out stand out songs.

I do like Quitter, Undo it, Songs Like That.

Fantastic album which mostly for me defines and confirms that she is easily the best singer in country music (As if we didn't know that already!). Some real highlights on this for me they are Change, Unapologize, What Can I Say and Play On. It took a couple of listens for me to fully embrace the more stripped back production and vocal but I do like that it is different that the first two albums.

Still miles off and pales in comparison to Some Hearts for me and disappointingly I am still preferring Carnival Ride at the moment (As I say though it is growing with every listen) but I'm happy with the effort and liking the progression of her sound showing off the more mature rich emotive side. I'll have a bit of that as well as the "old" Carrie showing off that amazing voice with bigger notes in album four please.

The main thing I'm worrying is though that if the rumors are to be believed and they are attempting to push Carrie here in 2010 then I don't see this album working to the UK audience. The first two albums were much more accessible and more suited to breaking the UK market I think.

Well having listened to this all week I can say its a fantastic album. Takes more than 1 listen though, infact took me a couple but then so did her previous albums. I wonder if there is any truth in that she will be released to the UK in 2010, I'm sure Mr Cowell could organise a preformance on the X-Factor, I'm sure something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvTwFl6OIAk would go down a treat. I can't understand why she hasn't been promoted in the UK already, I mean Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke have been let loose in the US.

My fav tunes would be

Quitter
Temporary Home
This Time
Unapologize
Play On

^ Because the UK doesn't do country music.

I'm definitely liking it more now that I've listened to it a few times. I was never a big fan of Carnival Ride but I thought Some Hearts was brilliant. Definitely the best debut album from any reality/talent show winner (imo).

Alot of her new album isn't country as such, more soft rock/pop type stuff

I always thought it would have been the perfect opportunity last year when it was all Help the Heroes for her to come on and sing Just a Dream.

I'd want to her to sing a big ballad if she came on - to showcase just how amazing her voice is.

Oh man, I love this album!!!

"Changes" is my favourite track.

She has a beautiful voice - and thank god I found out about her two years ago otherwise I would seriously be missing something special. She is gorgeous and so is her voice.

I really do hope they try and push her over here - maybe a performance on the X factor next year would be good. She would show EVERYONE up, no kidding. I think the only person who can hold a candle to Carrie, vocally, is Leona Lewis. Best things to come out of a reality show.

Number 1 in the US album charts

I was in Tesco's & HMV this morning and this album was sitting beside JLS/Cheryl Cole/Taylor Swift etc first time I have ever saw that so unless they are trying to push Carrie a bit over here?

Carrie is on Conan O'Brien on Tuesday night at 11pm on CNBC for those who are interested, well she should be, the UK airing is fairly heavly edited though.

I know I've commented a few times on this but after about 60 listens it is my favourite Carrie album as a whole.

Every song is brilliant but I really do have a soft spot for Look at me.
