i was a big fan but....not anymore - i do love her music and she was really good live but its all the other stuff - and i have a major problem when artists get management to post things on facebook on their behalf - ok i don't mind some of the time but la roux doesn't post anything - i've linked this article where she even admits she doesn't use the internet but its good enough to flog her stuff. just stinks a bit to me. th emoney and fame have changed her image too - she's just not the same as she was last june.

she wants annonyminity and doesn't want to be too accessible yet does tv shows showing people around her home area - i'm sure she was on tv the other week singing from her favourite local caf and not only that wears outlandish clothes that draws attention to her

Why is everyone bashing La Roux for yet not ****ing Gaga. That attention seeking bitch is on every single ****ing paper, tv station and radio station. You people criticise her for being outlandish but your happy to drool over ****ing Gaga stripteasing whilst singing out of ****ing tune? Yeah, I see what it is on here it's ok for sluts that will dress like whores, but not for someone who is individual and willing to speak her mind? Not to mention the fact that behind all of this is a very good ****ing singer/musician. Just read comments from Ou Est Le Swimming Pool who have been on tour with her. By the way La Roux didn't need media coverage to get them to the top. Little Boots had BBC bumming her at every available opportunity, yet look where that got her? Florence had Brit award recognistion, Lady Gaga rode Akons dick and the likes of Alexandre the Burke and Leona Bleeding Bloody Lewis came through the great bastion of publicity that is X-factor. If you don't like her comments tough get over it. Don't rate her as a musician go look at her Down At The Front sessions, or go see her live. In for the kill got to 2nd on merit, radio 1 didn't even ahve it playlisted! The album would have had number 1 had it no been for MJ's death. Bulletproof went to number one against the backdrop of MJ's death and glastonbury. I've seen her live, I'm confident in her delivering great music for years to come. The 80's rehash jibe is aimed by misinformed people who have heard two of her tracks!

Lol, this is pretty stupid, seeing as you had to say who exactly her mother is. Her mum's hardly a well known actress is she; not a household name. How people can say she got where she is because of her is silly, regardless of whether you like her music.

I'm still not convinced it's a woman. To me it sounds like a man trying to sound like a woman and looks similar.

I think she slags people off to come across as "edgy" or "controversial" when really it just comes across as desperation to have her name in the papers for more exposure. Sad. And her music is far from bring edgy or ground-breaking, and far from being actually decent as well.
