I agree.
Looks like our Rachel will get her break now in U.S. Hope she comes back next year to sing on X factor like JLS did. ( Not a fan of JLS by the way) |

JLS finished second, were popular and had a number 1 though. Can't see Rachel achieving enough to be invited back!

I thought she was amazing. A Ruth Lorenzo type sing off, fighting for survival. She truly deserved to stay over Lloyd. That's what the sing off is for.

Didnt like it preferred Lloyds sorry.
![]() But overall, I guess it would have been fairer for her to stay. Seems like she's going to be fine though, probably better off if all the rumours are true. |

I thought it was ok. If I were basing it on talent I'd say she should have stayed because she is clearly better than Lloyd, but considering she had been in the bottom 2 three times already I don't think she would have gone much further. But looks like she has some good news re a deal so, I think it has worked out nicely for her.

I didn't like her or Lloyd's performance or song choice, and would have preferred a double elimination. Good luck to both of them though, they do have potential if they find their niches

I agree she was better than Lloyd though. Each week Simon says "I'm going to judge them on the performance i am about to see." That obviously didn't happen this week. They might as well have not bothing singing and just gone straight to viewers votes. |

I don't care what anyone says. Rachel can sing circles around bland Stacey and Lucie; they don't even reach her talent. Will any of these bland girls be offered a record deal from a major record company? No. Not at all. Probably a season on the cabaret/karoake circuit.
Anyway, she's off this comedy show; let the rest of them burn out in a turgid heap of non-entities. They'll probably go the same way as Steve Brookenstein, because frankly, in my opinion, they're all talentless. Rachel, you are a star. Watch her shine. |

Its not just that, the girl was clearly an emotional wreck. Three times in the bottom would be enough to stop the best of us in our tracks. She clearly looked absolutely beaten when they announced the bottom two...
... and then to come on and give *that* performance! It was absolutely amazing! She is a true star and I really hope she goes very far. |

Everyone is sticking up for Rachel. Perhaps if all these people had voted for her she'd still be there now. If you didn't vote you can't complain.

I think Rachel's problem was that we didn't know anything about her before the live shows. She's the only contestant who hadn't had good coverage in the earlier rounds.
If I was going to vote, it would be for my favourite performance. That hasn't been Rachel but in a fight between her and Lloyd, she'd get my vote every time as he just isn't ready to be there. Sadly, the majority of viewers vote for the personality they like, which explains Danyl being in the bottom 2 because of his perceived arrogance and now Rachel leaving the competition while the likes of Stacey survive because of her "bubbly" personality and the comedy vote keeps the twins in. |

Rachels performance was brilliant but being in the bottom 2 for the 3rd time in 4 weeks wasnt good......keeping her would just mean she was out next week.....

She was brilliant but people get confused with BB and this show and I guess didn't get or like her personality. Shouldn't have been in the bottom 2 in any week based on her performances imo.
