now before you slate me i know this may be way off the real vote however, the people who give away 10000 free calls to vote for X Factor do a poll every week and this is this weeks

what i find interesting is not that Danyl and the twins were top (although nice for me) is that there bottom 2 were right as well and in the right order and that joe was near the bottom with stacey. Interesting, not conclusive, but interesting

Fascinating Lisa ; 10,000 is a huge sample compared to most opinion polls,and I can well believe this matched the actual result.

If it's true that Danyl and Jedward received 65% of the votes between them,then the claim by The Sun that J & E topped the poll last week is absolutely correct (as Danyl was in the bottom 2).

Okay I belong to both sites, and the Martin Lewis one is a very well respected site, so dont all start poo hooing it, as you would be wrong to. I can also tell you the 10,000 free votes were all used up in around 4 to 6 minutes as I was on there voting, I used it week one as well, left it stupidly til Sunday week two and the free votes had all been used.

If that is a good idea of the cross section voting and you need to look at Martins site to see the range of people who use it, then I would say Danyl was far from being anywhere near the bottom this week, and the twins being second does not surprise me in the least, and they had the bottom two correct as well, so have heart you Danyl supporters all is not as it may seem! To the haters well if this is a good indication eat your hearts out... as he could still win this competition, in the bottom two or not.. never say never!

And look at Jedward's position GG....the lads are in with a real shout of going far this year if this matches the official televote

I am not sure I saw them on there, ie Martins site last week, I will go and have a look for you, and as you say Eurostar this is not a mere 100 people polled, or mums at home watching the morning TV show.

I use it as I cannot call those numbers from my home phone cos I banned myself years ago and my dear son from running me up bills calling his mates on mobiles and me voting on these damn silly shows .. LOL... it was handy way round it for me... and 10000 other folk as well, but now the cat is out the bag I will have to be bloody quick this Saturday!1 ha hah

I'm happy Jamie came 5th even after that abysmal display concocted for him by the powers that be.

I think Danyl would have benefitted from a sympathy vote as everything went wrong for him on Saturday.

I also think you will find many of his supporters have said they did not vote the week before probably picked their number two fav as they all thought he was mega safe.

I can only tell you a story about that, I thought a young talented man was safe once, and split my votes, and so did others, and that young man left the show coming third which was a travesty, as Michelle McManus won.. sorry it was as Pete said no longer about the music, so I learnt never to split my votes or think someone was as safe as houses, as if we all think that way then someone we like will simply go home.

Jedward, wow that will really make Louis so so happy now off to tell someone about this.. who I hope will bloody print it in his paper tomorrow or the next day... lordy me, lets have some good news out there for a change and not all this nasty business... makes it much more exciting if we have the twins right up there and singing GHost Busters this week, classic viewing that will be.

Oh dear - if Lloyd voters turn out in force next week, and it's ceteris paribus elsewhere, I can imagine the furore if Joe and Stacey end up in the bottom 2.

If this is any way accurate,J & E are polling fantastically well.I can well believe they were top last week just as The Sun said.

Danyl topping the poll and being ahead of Olly surprises me slightly and yet it is entirely believable,given what happened on Saturday....I'm sure many people felt some sympathy for Danyl,and his own fan base probably voted for him in droves.

Yup - funnily enough, I was only looking at the Sun website, say, half an hour ago, and it wasn't up then.

Awwwwwww... I don't think she's bad to look at all, but I'm getting a bit fed up of hearing her make every song The Scientist. That was a stellar performance but she needs to do something new. Dancing wouldn't go amiss. Nothing too amazing but you know, a few Britney-esque moves.

I think you will still have people say it is not the whole vote but I think any betting man would say it is a good proportion to get a very good idea, and the fact the the bottom two are correct says a lot really...

It may also make some of the other fans vote more but we will see wont we... Simon must be loving all this.. more money in his coffers.

Once you posted the link to Martins site I knew he would never have anything dodgy on it, do any of you know the guy I mean, he is often on the TV and radio telling you how to save money, hence the name of the site, so I went straight there to read it, never even looked at the sun as until just now did not know that was how you found it.

i found Martins site first to be honest and then looked at the paper headlines afterwards

People will say that 10000 is not enough to say what the Sun are saying however I think they are probably right, and lets be honest Cowell squirmed when asked about the leaked figures last week did he not, we all thought he was lying.. so the Sun were poss right and J&E topped the polls.. yippeee... good for the lads, they have had enough stick out of this, so I am really pleased to see them being backed.

You know if you do not want someone to win, then you should not put them through.. and 3 judges did!
