Hi guys

Does anyone know how, or if, I can stop a number calling my mobile? I'm currently in slight arrears with a company. I call them regularly, at least twice a week, giving them an update but their collections department call me every day, sometimes twice a day. I have removed my landline from their records but they refused to delete my mobile number as they require a contact number. The number is dialled by computer so once the answerphone kicks in the person can leave a message for me to ring them. Can I barr their number from my phone?

My phone is Nokia 6500 Classic and I'm on Virgin but can't find any information on their website.

No, that model doesn't have call blocking feature.

Also there's no software that you can install to get that feature on that model.

So, it's new phone - or lottery ticket.

meanwhile, read this

and this

good luck!

Hi barsix

Thank you for the information its really useful and I've kept a copy of it. The company is actually my mortgage company so it was very interesting. I phoned them again and insisted they remove all telephone numbers and stop harrassing me or I would seek legal advice. They agreed to that provided I call them in two weeks to give them an update.

Thanks again.
