There has been another thread on this referring to the original poll rather than the Sun just re-hashing the same information.
Based on 10 000 votes. Difficult to know for sure without knowing the actual total votes cast but I would expect the Twins to be getting a high percentage of comparatively small numbers of votes being cast.
Eoghan topper the phone vote for 6 weeks out of 7 lkast year so until the voting numbers get serious it is really too early to properly judge.
I love Danyl so would love to think he got the most votes overall.
However, being realistic, it may be true that he got the most out of those particular 10,000 votes but that doesnt really help much with the overall voting figures.
If I were to guess - purely guess - I would imagine he was somewhere in the middle overall, and I think that would probably be the same for John and Edward. And I doubt that Joe was low enough to just miss the bottom 2 but then again, you can never ever tell!
If it's true, it doesn't bode well for Danyl - he only gets the sympathy vote! Rachel left the week following her sympathy vote - people will only do it the once!
Looks right to me - Danyl sympathy vote, Jedward up there. Olly getting the most of the serious contenders. I would have swapped Lucie and Joe if I was predicting but looks fairly realistic to me.
I think it probably is true.
From my own experience as a Danyl fan, I didn't vote for him on the Big Band week as i was going out and naturally thought he would sail through anyway.
I also know people who thought the same too, so I genuinely believe it was us, his fans, who became complacent and ultimately let him down. Of course ,as long as he is there I'm not about to risk not voting for him again.
I voted Danyl this week. Not out of sympathy or because I was sucked in by the PR spin on him this week - I, along with the majority of the viewers, am not a sheep and know my own mind.
I like many others, hold back on voting until the latter stages of the competition as I have every faith in the X Factor loyalists to vote off the deadwood, then I join in when it gets down to the serious competitors.
To have Danyl in the bottom two blew that theory out the water, therefore I picked up the phone. I think a lot of other Danyl supporters may have done the same this week.
It wasn't Danyl's best performance but it was no means bad
I saw posts on the internet publicising the service for Irish people to vote because they can't vote on the normal lines so there could be a larger vote for John & Edward on these lines than the normal voting lines as they are Irish, if regional voting comes into play on the x-factor.

Agree 100% I couldn't have put that any better myself
Sympathy does a lot for the votes, it kept Rachel out of the bottom two in week 3. As you can see though from week 4's results, that sympathy ebbs away quickly. Expect Danyl to be in the bottom 2 again soon.
I don't think it's right, Danyl isnt popular really I think at his best, so when he does a pretty poor performance I doubt it'd make people like him more. Just for the record, I think he's got talent, but there's something that doesn't gel him with me.
This story is only designed to make sure Danyl's supporters come out in force next week. It's pathetic really that they have to make this effort. Have they not learnt that it doesn't matter who people support in these contests. If it's for the wrong reasons, they won't go out and buy their records afterwards. What is the point?
