Some of you might have seen an appeal on the news this week to raise money for a baby with cancer who needed treatment in america, they need to fly out by the end of the week to raise this babies chance from 20% survival to 90% with this special treatment for this rare form of cancer,

Alex saw the news appeals and told simon about it and made him watch it, subsequently Our simon put up the last £100,000 they needed to fly her out and Alex phoned her mum yesterday to tell her to start packing.

So Simons not always nasty, hes a big softy really and he hasnt been spashed all over the news claiming credit for it either.

So big round of appluse to the general public & simon whos donated their pennies so this little girl can have a shot at life.

I have never thought he is always nasty, I can see there is a difference between his business and relaxing head. He does often show a softer side when it's needed, but you don't succeed by being too soft all the time.

Tax write off?

That said, am sure the public and private personae are two different things. Why are you even surprised he helps old ladies cross the road? No reason why he wouldn't.

Good for him, but the cynic in me knows that if she'd asked and he'd done nothing the press would have crucified him.
