Of this year's bunch I hadn't heard of Craig, Natalie, Ricky W, Ricky G, Joe, Chris, Ali, Rav, Zoe or Laila!

Martina and Lynda were the only two I would have recognised in the street and tho I knew the other 4 names I didn't know what they looked like!

I still enjoy watching them all though. We're never gonna get A list celebs on there, are we?

Well I am watching DWTS and enjoying it and I had only heard of Donny & Kelly.

Didn't know who Jo Wood was before this season and dancing aside, I was sorry to see her leave. So I don't think it matters that much to the fan but might be harder to pull in the casual viewer.

I guess if you don't watch soaps that rules them out but even I have heard of Joe

I'd say she was a celeb's wife, but then again I'd have said Jo Wood was a rock star's wife. I know who she is where as I had never heard of Jo, so does that make Jools a celeb? Who knows?

From this year's "celebs", I hadn't heard of Joe Calzaghe, Richard Dunwoody, Rav Wilding, Chris Hollins or Craig Kelly.

But all that says is that I'm not a fan of boxing, horse racing or Coronation Street! Still not sure what Rav and Chris are famous for.

I know what you mean, but then when you find out who the celebs are and why they are a celeb then that sort of makes it okay, if you know what I mean. Jo Wood was a bit 'off' to be called a celeb as far as SCD goes and that's how I'd feel about Jools being on the show. I loved Jo to bits when she was on btw, so I am not bashing her. If you take another example of a celeb's wife, I knew who Penny Lancaster was long before she married Rod Stewart as she was already famous in her own right. Jools may have been a model when she met Jamie, but I don't think she was well known and she wouldn't have been in the public eye if she hadn't married Jamie.

Maybe that's one of the 'tests' - being famous in your own right?
