would this seems to indicate that they see it as a two horse race. what does everybody think? |

I think people who start banal and asinine threads such as this should receive a lifetime ban.

I don't think so: The bookies often come a cropper with positive votes.

Those 2 are definitely in my top 3 but you don't really know at this stage do you? Any of the acts left could be in the top 2!

Probably the current favourites, but with the voting this year they could both wind up in the bottom 2.

The bookies fav is not always the publics though is it? They are on a hiding to hell if J&E win as they had stupid odds on them and they will do anything to alter the publics thinking, they dont want J&E to win, they will lose millions as Eurostar pointed out to me last night, for them Olly and Joe are not going to cost them millions if people back them, even if they were to win... it is all logical if people look at it a bit more subjectively.
TWINS to win from me as well ... for many reasons as well.. although I still think Danyl will be in the final. It is early days, but the bookies want to alter views now on J&E just as Simon will do.. |

This is a very odd year, I think by the time we get to Final 5 we'll have a better idea. Next Sunday anyone bar Jedward could be in Bottom 2.

I'd be surprised if it's not Stacey vs Olly. They both seem to be the most popular, imo.

You never know what can happen between now and the final. Alexander Burke was never a favourite, neither were JLS. At this stage if I were betting on it, I would say the final three would probably be Olly, Joe and Stacey, in no particular order. However, what I like about this year is that there is no obvious winner or favourite - it keeps changing week in, week out. Anyone could win - even Jedward

I don't think it is a two-horse race. I'd have thought that Joe and Olly would have divided a specific section of the voters. I think one of them will fall before the final.
It feels good not having a firm favourite. Infact it's probably lucky for the acts that none of them are the bigged up one to watch at the moment. It only leads to backlash later on. PS Loving the username, PigsMightFly.

If Joe and Olly are in a two horse race Joe should win hands down on talent but I am worried Olly will win this on popularity.

yeah maybe. i was just watching danyl's performance on you tube and it is quite clear he has lost his confidence big time. i think that joe is a better singer than olly.
