Ignoring all thoughts of a possible winner, whose album would you buy from the finalists? Who has star quality? And who'll end up checking into the priory with 'exhaustion' in a few months time?

I wouldn't exactly buy her album but I think if moulded correctly that Lucie Jones could definitely find a place in today's market. They have to make her current and modern, if they can do that she could well be a star.

As for the Priory, I don't think anyone in the show is as mentally delicate as Susan Boyle, but I guess if things go bad for Jedward one of them could well end up having a mental breakdown.

I'd buy Olly's, probably Jamie, Rachel, possibly Stacey, Joe, unlikely Lucie, Danyl, and not-going-to-happen for Lloyd, Jedward.

Rachel deffo. I had thought maybe Stacey on the basis of her audition and coldplay version but, gawd, not anymore.

No one else I would say.

Oh Miss Frank if they ever released something (unlikely)

While I do think Jamie has potential, he really needs to start showing it, NOW. I've felt indifferent to all his performances so far. Yes, even Hurt.

I would buy Joe's and Stacey's albums and I think they will make it. I think J&E will make it just not necesserily as musicians.

I think Lucie will, as I don't think there are many british young teenage female singers, out there, all I can think of at the moment is Pixie Lott.

I think any of them packaged properly could make it....but would you want to buy any of it?

Personally, no.

Lucie and Olly definitely. Olly has loads of charisma and Lucie i think would have a lovely recording voice.

Stacey, if she wins. I think she 's great and sounds lovely, but I'm not sure if she'd make it.

Jamie would be good ala Daughtry, fronting a band. On his own, even if he wins, I'm not sure that he'll be a massive success.

I can't see a place for Danyl. I will admit I can't stand him. His voice is good, but I can't see what sort of chart song he could release. It's hard enough for leona to realease big whitney type songs, so I can't see him doing the saem.

Joe, I would absolutely love to see in Musical theatre. I would buy an album of him singing showtunes tomorrow! Every time he sings on the x-factor I always wish he was singing "Empty chairs at empty tables" or similar!

J&E will be in the public eye in some form or the other after this.

Llloyd, not a chance!

Try as I might I can't see any of them do any more than Steve Brookstein or Leon did. One album and then dropped.

Olly might look the most likely candidate, but every Saturday, the twitter network is buzzing with people saying he's like Will Young or Robbie Willians or a hybrid of both. There's nothing unique about him, he's a Stars in Your Eyes style performer, as are most of them this year .

Well I can see Jamie being succesful. He already has his own band, he's a good singer and he knows how to really perform live. Not only would I buy his records I would without a moments hesitations go and see him live.

Stacey, prehaps if she finds a nieche/genre. I think she would be good doing indie. She was really in her element when she sang The scientist and I saw a lot of that magic when she did somwhere only we know last week. I would buy her records.

Possibly Danyl, I dont think I'd buy his records but I can see him working as a recording artist.

Looking at the music industry and whats sells, the only one that fits in is Lucie. It'll take a year of performing and working on her identity - but young female solo artists have always sold well in the pop genre. Likely to be around in five years time.

Of the others, I can't see them having much success beyond the usual X factor winner market.

Olly could have limited success if he teams up with a good songwriter and aims for Robbie Williams's fanbase. Jamie needs to be fronting a band, doing their own stuff far away from Cowell to have a shot.

Joe/Lloyd - teenage boys just don't sell as solo artists. There's a reason why Vanessa Hudgens has released two solo albums and Zac Efron has released none. Joe will have a future in music, just not as a solo recording artist.

Danyl - can't see what he would sing. Also most twentysomething male solo artists tend to be of the soulful singer-songwriter type, which he isn't as far as I can see.

Stacey - an album of slow indie ballards is the stuff petrol station bargin baskets are made of.

J+E: a big selling Christmas novelty record, then TV if the public don't completely turn on them

If Danyl's ex-band manager is to be believed, he's had one already. I reckon if Simon stops jumping up like a jack-in-the-box after Danyl's performances it may be enough to send him over the edge.
