Lloyd and Danyl to miss Saturday night?
That's the rumor I just saw on twitter on the cherylcoleuk page
Rumours are saying that Danyl and Lloyd will BOTH miss this Saturday's X Factor due to throat infections... I'll keep you posted! |

Wouldn't surprise me if Lloyd did, having heard he had been bad for days last week, then had to sing two days in a row before fully recovering.

Well that throws the Sing Off wide open then doesn't it?
They're the only two left that have been in it so it'll be interesting to see the next two "least popular" acts. Jamie possibly? J&E might be in a bit more danger aswell... |

Sounds like a dream scenario for me, though I hope the same backlash that happened to Diana doesn't affect them aswell.

No doctor on earth will advise they sing if they have very bad throat infections, how this will affect the show I have no idea, as what if one of the others or two or more then go down with it next week at this time? |

Na imo Jamie is probably in the Top 3.
Personally I could see J&E and Joe in the Bottom 2. J&E wont be the bottom two, no way in my book, not that I am always right but I think the GBP are voting for them and they will be this week as well, as long as there is a show and a vote in place. |

Jamie is not in the top three or he was not last week, but Joe was the third from bottom so he could be at risk with or without Lloyd being there.

Jamie seems to be holding up quite well in polls especially the bigger ones. I'm surprised at the lack of interest for J&E in terms of polls, This Morning for eg. had them bottom. |

I can understand why Lloyd would miss the show because he really seemed to be struggling on Saturday. However I'm not so sure about Danyl. If he misses the live show this week the week after he will get the sympathy vote. Could this be a crafty plan by Simon?

I think the 'contest' side of it would lose all credibility if 2 or more performers had to back out because of sore throats. If they have bad throats, then, no, they shouldn't sing, but then that makes it hugely unfair on everyone left as the acts left out get a free ride. I wonder what the legal issues are for the show if this happens? Do the contestants left have any legal avenue to say "not fair"?
Again, I'm not saying those with bad throats *should* sing, I'm just saying this is a thorny one for the show's producers. One can have a week off, but more than one??? Do they just have a fun weekend where no one gets kicked off? I don't know. But more than one down and out makes for some interesting decisions. |

Methinks that if this rumour is true. There will be no evictions this week followed by a double eviction the week after

Were the results leaked and if so is it a reliable source?
Jamie seems to be holding up quite well in polls especially the bigger ones. I'm surprised at the lack of interest for J&E in terms of polls, This Morning for eg. had them bottom. Yes so reliable bookies were making changes to things in the middle of the night, ie early hours of this morning. It is no joke either, or scam or con, or Martin Lewis would never have put about it on his site and Sky News would not have reported about it either. The running order from 10,000 real votes counted and reported and then not leaked but posted out last night were that : expect some shocks here.... ![]() Danyl was in the lead with 35 % J&E second with 30% I will go get the others, but they bottom two were exactly as they were on Sunday night and the one 3rd from bottom was Joe. Jamie and Ollie were in the middle if I remember correctly, with Stacey I think below them. but will go and find the thread and link you to it in here. |

Ok sorry Danyl is not the worst singer...i dont like him but come on the guy can sing.
Lloyd was terribly ill on sunday..it was kind of a given he might not perform next week. I compare Lloyd to Leon in that he has a tone maturer than his age but not the maturity to use it or the experience to control his voice. Danyl is over 10 years older and as such should not have those issues but he has. Danyl has the least controlled voice of all of them barring Lloyd and John & Edward. His percentage of duff notes is way above those of the others. |
