I must admit it is often the ultra modern stuff I don't like.

Thinking about it, if the music is modern and I don't know the song, then that's when I'm more likely not to like the music. The lack of familiarity distracts me from the dance and I can't fully enjoy the performance. For some reason, with a traditional choice, it doesn't seem to matter quite as much to me and somehow it is more acceptable. I don't know if this makes sense!

After seeing tonight's dances, I have to say that traditional music is so much better.

I think that Ricky and Laila's dances would have been more effective with traditional music. Didn't like Ali's music either.

Have to say I can't recall any of the songs from tonight apart from Vincent's choice, and the music for Ricky's tango spoilt the dance. Traditional would have lifted it to a different level.

I thought tonight showed again that sometimes the unusually choices work - Laila's paso song was very strong and suited the dance.

Ricky's tango track ruined the dance however. Very poor choice.
