She has always been the favourite with the viewers, Cheryl is just more popular with the media/press

I know it's against the grain to say this but I have always found Danii a bit bland. Cheryl is more feisty - e.g. you couldn't imagine Danii telling Simon and Louis to shut up, as Cheryl did last Saturday!

If XF were to lose a judge, Danii is the one I'd be least sorry to see go.

Danni is also always been my favourite and thought she got an unnecessarily bad time in her first series with Sharon.

I think the Piers Morgan interview will have done her wonders - one girl I work with came in and almost ranted at me about how amazing she was on the interview and that she had gone forever up in her estimation, never realised how famous she was in oz etc and that she was dignified and mega cool in every way.

i agree

With regards to the other judges, I'm coming round to Louis for the first time ever...

Cheryl is going down big time just find her childish and feisty for the sake of it.

As for Cowell... hes always been annoying but right. However the annoying aspect this year (bigging up to the hilt his own acts and slaggin off threats) has become completely over the top and makes him less credible to me. I think SC image has been damaged quite heavily this year.

She was my favourite judge last year, and she's my favourite judge this year.

Simon's gone down in my estimation through his frankly ridiculous standing ovations for persistently tuneless Danyl Johnson. I'm finding Louis a lot funnier than I used to. In her own words, Cheryl "I just don't get" (and I never have).

Agree with you completely, Louis has me laughing ALOT and Simon I normally agree with but the Lucie comment confused me greatly

And as for answering the actual question, I love Dannii!!!!

She and Cheryl were my favorites last year, Dannii slightly more as she mentored Ruth who was my favorite contestant but this year, I much prefer Dannii Cheryl is coming across very fake, Dannii is the only one in my eyes that genuinely cares for her acts, and after the Piers interview I am a bigger fan it just made me like her even more I hope her and Kris marry

Cowell's treatment of Ms Minogue doesn't really sit well - If someone with less clout (money/position) treated a lady like that, they could probably expect a bat in the yap.
Because of who he is, he gets away with it.
Dannii has always been a thorough professional.
Chris Evans once told me that she was one of the best people he'd ever worked with after she'd done a guest presenter stint on The Big Breakfast, thoroughly clued-up & totally switched on to ideas in the production meetings.
The three people she is working with right now, are pretty classless in all honesty, she works quite well with Holly on the X-tra factor, because Holly, Like Danni is a sensible, likeable lady without any 'attitude'
In ten years time they will both still have flourishing careers (assuming Danni wants one) but the other X-Factor 'judges' will have either retreated behind the cameras or become full time WAGS.....

I reckon Dannii would of told them to 'shut up' if she was in that position last week. I think Cheryl comes across more feisty because she sits next to Simon and he winds her up, he likes a reaction from her

I find thought that when Dannii says something against his act she gets more stick from Simon than Cheryl does, he seems more jokey towards Cheryl.

I hope so!
She deserves to be liked by people. Personally, I think she is one of the best judges because she gives constructive criticism and she is not afraid to have her own opinion. She is very good with her acts and is constantly helping and talking to them

I love Dannii, and I hope other people do too!

I really like Dannii too. Before she was on the X Factor, I wouldn't have had much of an opinion on her other than she was a popstar whose career had never really taken off. But I've really warmed to her and I think she seems like a sweet person.

If they sacked her, I would be very annoyed, I think she is a good judge and mentor and a radiant personality.

Nice to read a lot of positive Dannii comments.

I didn't manage to catch the Piers interview though. It sounds like it was a good show.

*hopes to find it on Youtube*

Dannii is easily the best judge on the show IMO, she seems like the only one who cares mostly about her acts, and not constnatly bickering with the other judges or getting air-time. It has even been said on here that almost all the acts secretly wanted her as their mentor.

Just went onto the X Factor website and it shows highlights from last weeks show with the judges comments. Which judge do they show more of.......Dannii! There were a few of Louis a couple from Simon and one from Cheryl. Was quite surprised by that, they must know that she is now one of most liked so show her more or maybe her comments were better than the others.

Dannii is top of the judges list for me. The reason why i like her is because she is always honest and constructive in her criticisms of the acts. You can also tell how supportive she is towards her own acts.

Glad to see she has people supporting her and i honestly think she has a great personality.

What I would say, in the nicest possible way, is that Dannii is the "grown up" of the judges. She does her job professionally, she is a lovely young woman. Whilst I really like Simon, Cheryl and Louis, they don't show the maturity and honesty that Dannii shows. That is why she is my favourite judge, even though none of her acts are in my top 3 this year.

If they were to get rid of her, I would seriously consider giving X Factor a miss and doing something else with my life over these few weeks. Would very much depend on
A) Why she left - if its totally her choice, then fine.
B) Who they replaced her with.”

Couldn't have said it any better.

Dannii is amazing! So caring and supportive of her acts and with the one minor blip re Danyl, always professional and constructive with her feedback.

I find the interaction between Simon and Wor Cheryl creepy and staged beyond belief and I really don't understand why Cheryl is so popular, she does nothing of any true purpose.

I really wanna see Dannii win this year - her acts are head and shoulders above Cheryl's, Louis' and Danyl and Jamie for Simon. I think Olly is their main threat.

GO TEAM MINOGUE!!

Last year I really fell for the whole Cheryl thing but I find her repulsive at the moment, so surly and sour faced.

Thank goodness then for Ms Minogue! It's such a shame it took me so long to realise but Dannii is beautiful, warm and lovely and over the last few weeks I have really enjoyed watching her more and more. I didn't like the Danyl comment much but that can be forgiven as i don't think she meant it at all.

I also just watched the Piers interview and she went up x 100,000,000 in my estimation. So sassy and clued up - loved her wit and the way she answered all of the questions with dignity and was so diplomatic when she didn't want to talk about certain things.

LOVE DANNII!

Dannii is by far the best judge, Cheryl is just a clothes horse and a bad one at that !

Yes. I am also liking Louis for the first time ever this year. Simon and Cheryl have become too big for their boots and are genuinely very irritating.

I adore Dannii - as already said, she is always constructive in what you says. SHes not afraid to point out a poor performance and doesnt' go over the top in praise of her own acts (mentioning no names...SIMON COWELL!!!!!)

I also love Louis - just watching him get so into the show and how emotional he gets is always funny - especially when he starts clapping like a seal, and crying when he has to boot someone off ("its not fair dermot...." - come on man its been 6 years you know the drill!!!)

I would love a louis-cam his expressions are always hilarious. WHy is Harry Hill not doing this any more???

With Simon and Cheryl I just think the pair of them are desparate to shag each other. If it wasn't for Ashley they would be straight in the sack!

Bring on more Lo-anni and less Cher-mon!

One of the few judge's that actually gives relevant & constructive feedback to each act. Best judge on the panel. I'm amazed that the contestants don't seem to respect her opinion more. Their ears seem to perk up when Simon's giving his half-hearted cliche'd rubbish though.

They probably are or shes promised him something thats why they're all over each other.

He probably tried it on with Dannii but she wasn't having any of it (don't blame her Kris is gorgeous). That's probably why she got moved down the table and he is rude to her. I bet he doesn't like her being anymore populare either.

I read somewhere yesterday as well that Cheryl has started smoking again after 7yrs and there was a pic of her and Simon smoking together. Probably started againg to suck up to him. Has anyone seen that ep of Friends where Rachel gets left out of work coz she doesn't smoke? I see a familiar story here.
