CBS has begun running promos for BB5 USA which...

shows scenes of the HGs from BB4. I guess you could call it a recruitment ad since it's about the last chance for people to sign up for BB5. It directs them to go to the CBS site for more details & the BB5 Application Form.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get BBUSA 5 here this year KS, I really enjoyed last years coverage on CH4 here in the UK.

I'm also hoping that the UK producers will take note & learn some lessons from you across the pond.

My thoughts exactly, i know alot of the USA sites say that BB4 wasn't as good as previous seasons but i think it was far more entertaining than our BB4

Hi Indigo25, I'm glad you feel that way!

My watching the live Internet feeds for BB4 UK was my first exposure to BB UK. Obviously, it was not a very good one - especially since BB Australia was on at the same time & was really great!

Those online posters at USA sites who say that BB4 USA was vastly inferior to previous seasons are CORRECT. (The only exception was Season One which used the European style public voting & had none of the innovations created by the American producers for Season Two). The HouseGuests from the previous two seasons were so much more interesting & had great charisma. And there was no gimmick of "The X-Factor" (which you won't see again).

Even if Channel 4 (or any other UK network) doesn't show BB5 USA - just subscribe to the live 24/7 Internet feeds in July (which are a joint venture between CBS & Real Networks).

Look on the bright side: the UK WILL be getting Donald Trump's THE APPRENTICE - the best & most innovative reality series to come out in many years. And the US show will be followed by a local UK version of this smash hit series. It's the #2 rated show in America & has become a pop culture phenomenon which even appeals to viewers who don't like reality shows.

Thanks for the welcome KS.

What a poor season we gave you for your initiation to our version, hopefully this year won't be as disappointing (fingers x). The only reality show i really watch is BB, although i've caught a couple of episodes of "Paradise Hotel" on channel 5. Thanks for the info on The Apprentice i'll for sure keep a look out for it with it coming so highly recommended. Regarding the live feeds for BB5 USA i was thinking of subscribing this year but i only have Dial-up at home and don't know whether this would affect the quality?
