No he hasn't.

He mumbles out of tune during the quiet bits, Then he does his money note, the long held loud note. which is begining to remind me of the guy that auditioned one year with the long sustained note to which Simon said you can't sing or end every song with that, which is exactly what Danyl does to every song.

So over rated.

Is that necessary? When someone is singing whole lines and sometimes whole verses out of tune, isn't it obvious they hit a high number of bum notes?

Rolling your eyes at someone is probably not the best way to actually get someone to calm down.

Don't worry, I'm calm. I'm in "Don't give a rat's" mode.

Precisely. I'm still really baffled that people can think he has a good voice. He's almost always out of tune and so incredibly mannered in his delivery. Quite apart from the weird faces he pulls, which I would forgive if he had an incredible voice, I actually find him really uncomfortable to listen to. I'm amazed that people's standards are so low. I'd get it more if people were just saying they liked him/warmed to him as that's all about personal taste, but his voice? It's just plain bad.

He's erratic and that's probably what makes him interesing. When he's good, I think he's brilliant - probably the best ever in one of these competitions and I'd include 'American Idol' cotnestants in that... (and as for the first audition - I actually preferred Jamie's!) When he loses the melody or goes out of tune - he's bad.

I don't mind him hitting the money notes - he can do it so why not? I do think he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

I want Jamie to win but if he can't (and J & E don't either by some quirk of fate) then Danyl's the one I'd like to see win it. He truly has something - but maybe he overthinks it and puts almost too much emotion into his eprformances so when he's off balance - so is the performance.

His voice is so good (when it's good) for me that I'm happy to cut him some slack when he isn't.
