Escaping Orange Contract
I am on month 15 of an 18 month contract with Orange. My current phone has a damaged screen and so I would like to upgrade to the iPhone Orange deal when it comes out on the 10th of November. But, alas, I have 3 months before my contract ends.
Are there any ways out of this contract? Can I switch earlier? Would they upgrade my phone early? Or am I stuck? Thanks, Jon |

They do ususally allow you to upgrade before your 18month expires. Im unsure how many weeks before the end it usually is.

You can upgrade 3 months before end of contract on an 18 month deal... my contract would've been up on January 29th 2010 but I was able to upgrade after October 30th this year... so I did...

Give 150 a call and ask what your upgrade date is. Like the others have said, you can always upgrade in the last three months of your contract, however those three months will be added to your new contract.

They've just told me its 8/11/09 when I can upgrade. So does that mean I could go for the iPhone on the same terms as someone coming to Orange for the first time? Or do you get a different deal when you upgrade?
